New dvc gift - no more sliders

It’s just our luck. We always leave and then they release stuff. O well at least I was offered a “new” lithograph of Grand Floridian and another magnet that has to fight for space on the garage fridge.

A slider is a worn decoration, and a lithograph can be framed and hung.

Less functional than the slider. It’s crazy to me they didn’t have the sliders for not even an entire year. Luckily got two, but wanted one more and it was a hard no. The “rumor” from one of the guides was there may be something at the holidays, the guide also probably drives a bus in their spare time.

Do they only give this to you at your home resorts? We stopped by the Aulani one and the first guide said she could only give us lanyards. Our DVC salesperson was there the next day, and she gave us a bag filled with similar swag in your picture.

I don't own at VGC or VDH. I just went in and asked for a medallion, and they asked me if I wanted a bag as well. Then they asked me if i had any coasters and I said "no", so they tossed in the 2 coasters and the 2 sliders too.

The sales office at VGC always has the gift bags pre-filled with SWAG and sitting on a table. I got the medallion, because that's what I went in for, and they threw the coasters and sliders in as a bonus. The other stuff was already in the bag.

Sliders are at least functional and keep your magic band from falling off. One of our bands had the last few pegs spontaneously pop off last week, a slider would have been handy to keep the band from coming off.

You can't fit two sides of the band through the current sliders without really stretching them. The slot is very narrow. I'd just use it for decoration.

those coaster for out in my pool house kitchen would make me happy so people don't leave water rings

You can't fit two sides of the band through the current sliders without really stretching them. The slot is very narrow. I'd just use it for decoration.

that's what I always did with mine cause I thought that was the purpose. lol they are retired now anyway.

Have to agree with Don, some just really are not pleased with anything. I don't care for the sliders, threw away a lot of them. They don't really work and honestly never had any issues with my Magic Band being loose. If you don't want a coin, then don't ask for one.
