That would be my guess. At Disneyland, they generally won't allow people to board the monorail for a full round trip without disembarking at the other end and then reboarding. I'm sure it's the same here. If someone was waiting in line behind 15 people for 45 minutes to use the ferry, and it shows up with 20 people on it who don't get off (just out for the ride), thereby causing the waiting individual to not be able to board due to capacity, that individual would be mighty peeved.

It looks nice. Thanks for the pictures, Bill! I can tell this will be a longer trip than we are used to, but often we take the ferry just for the ride, and don't care about time. If we really care about time to get to DTD, we usually walk or drive.
