New DS markdowns! (Wed 7/14)

Boys & Girls:

I called. They confirmed. I went in. Here's what I saw:

- PJ Pals -- 5.99 (yay!)

- Souvenirs - 99 cents (these are the ones that WERE 1.99 - on clearance in front of the register)

-Adult polos - 7.99

- girl's knit dresses - 2.99 (yay!)

- Adult t-shirts - 3.99 and 5.99

- Adult baseball sleeves w/ Mickey, Stitch, etc. - 5.99

-Women's sleepshirts - 5.99

The darned beach towels are still 7.99....hoping they go to 4.99 by the weekend, but it will probably take another week or two!
Add to this if I've forgotten stuff!!!

Oh yeah, forgot MY FAVORITE PURCHASE:

all the cd's that had been 7.99 and 5.99 are now 2.99!!!

You read that RIGHT! I got:

Kids Super Starz

all for 2.99 each -- Merry Christmas to ME!

I bought 2 snowglobes for 19.99 each. They were 29.99 last week. I got the Peter Pan/Capt. Hook and the Pinocchio/Figaro ones.

I went at lunch. I should have read this post before going so I would have known to look for other deals. Not much time when you're trying to only be away from the office for an hour. But, I spent enough money as it is (LOL!!!)

I picked up a bunch of "toys" on the $.99 rack to use as birthday party goodie bag items. DD has her 4th birthday coming up in Aug. I bought the Buzz Lightyear & Lizzie McGuire FM radios (like a Walkman) and the magic towels.

I also picked up a Princess Glamour make-up type kit that was $6. I wish I would have picked up more of those when I saw them last week. They hadn't gone down any more and there was only one left. Now I've got to decide if to keep it for DDs birthday or give it to one her two best friends that both have Aug. birthdays.

Also wondering if I can actually get DH to actually wear a Disney shirt. There was a Tigger polo-type shirt for $8. Maybe I should go buy it and force him to wear it.

Where are your Disney stores? I went today and the sales were not that good and there was hardly anything left. It was mostly the new items. I might have to travel to another DS tomorrow. I have a sickness, don't I. I really don't need any of this stuff, but it's such a bargain!

Looks like some of us are in the south ... maybe we have more summer items that they're trying to clear for fall/winter stuff. I talked to my sister who lives north of Orlando and it sounded like they were having the same type of stuff on sale last week for the same prices as here in GA.

i hopped over here during my lunch break and saw this post, so i ran over to TDS after work. we're giving welcome bags to our wedding guests when they check in to their hotels, and today we added each of the following at 99 cents times 18 bags:
~a plush bean bag of a various dwarf
~an antenna topper. work is a golf company, so i got a bunch of the golf ball ones, but as i figured out, they kinda look like spaceship earth.
~ a pooh and eyeore clip candie holder thingie. since the wedding's a year away we're gonna empty the candy and add new stuff closer to the date.
all this for 60 bucks
no cd's though

Oooooooo - I sure hope there's stuff to be had when I visit our nearest store (an hour away ... we are such deprived souls!) I'm on my way to visit my sis and with our big family WDW trip just 3 weeks away, I need a few more little "doo-dad" type items to round out the goody bags for the 4 kids we'll have in our party. And if I could get that Lilo and Stich soundtrack for 2.99 I'd be thrilled... if not, guess I'll have to hum a few bars and fake it.

BTW -- has anyone ever stopped at the Disney outlet in St. Augustine? Wondering how it compares to the ones at the Belz outlet in Orlando. I have found awesome deals at Belz... Is St. Aug worth the stop or should I keep on truckin south andskip it?

I like the St. Augustine outlet somewhat better then the Orlando ones. They have some different stuff and prices seem to be better. And not as crowded!

I'm going to try to hit the closest one to me tonight. After reading the post about the Snowglobes being marked down to $19.99, I called my regular store - they were still $29, called another store and they were $19.99 and on my third store call they weren't on sale at all!

I always stop at the St. Augustine outlet. Like DianeV said different stuff and many times we have been the only people in the store. I have scored some tremendous deals here.

We stop at the St. Augustine outlet on our way home each trip. When we leave there, I know the trip is over! It is hit or miss, just like the Belz in Orlando, but I've found some good stuff there.

I just bought a bunch of clearance toys to put away for my DD. I am going to have "Tinkerbell" leave a new toy each night in hopes that we can aviod the high prices at the park. I also got a few Disney Dollars at the store the other day and "Tink" will leave her a few with her presents.

Just got back from disney store and got a price adjustment on my snowglobe i bought last week. towels were still 7.99, the ladies pj sets were still 12.99, the c.d.'s were 6.49 have a magical day!
