DF, at Tchop Chop DH and I both had the Firecracker Fish and it was incredible. I'm not sure what kind of fish it was but it may of been red snapper. It was seared and had a light crust with lemongrass sauce. DD had the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection too. Emeril certainly has high standards! Enjoy!

Muffy~ I liked the Catonese Lobster at Blue Zoo that you posted about - it sounds delicious! I like anything with lobster in its title - good thing I live in New England.

I was bored today and decided to book our Limo pickup for our Dec trip....Southern Elegance....they were wonderful on the phone...Dh got home told him and the cost...( we used to get a minivan for the cost of a limo ride to and from the airport)...In his wisdom he says have you priced a rental car that we can drop off at the Dolphin....I've been foiled....NO ..... I then go price it to get a mini van and drop at the Dolphin and do the same back to the airport saves about $75 dollars.....

But the limo would be so fun...I think I will book the car and limo and decide later....

But I'm glad to have the Dolphin National car option....

PS...It snowed here this morning....YUCK....Freezing..

Hiya BT!!! I believe Fresh occupies the former Juan and Onlys location.

I peeked in at Blue Zoo when I stayed at the Swan on Feb. 27th, but I was traveling solo, and didn't feel like spending that much money for dinner. Instead, I ate at the Cape May buffet at the Beach Club...using my CM discount. I ate WAY too much!

Now.....we did take our pizza from Tubbi's back to the room and it was still warm. Course we hoofed it pretty fast!!! Had our sodas, etc read so when we came back it was eaten right away.

Isn't that car the doorprize for our sorority meet? Shouldn't the S/D donate something to our worthwhile cause for door prizes? The black one would be fine.

Just back from the Joe, we left before the end of the game. The BIG game before the game though was fantastic! We beat the other team 8-2! Then proceeded to get the entire team lost in downtown Detroit trying to find the shortcut to Greektown for dinner. Went back for the Wings game, where DS had to leave right after the National Anthem to suit up again. Between period one and two our four kids went out and did fantastic! 3 out of four shot a goal! (one being my boy!) Our goalie did great on the other side, foiling the four from the other team from getting any goals at all! Its been a great day/night, and this has NOTHING to do with the Swan/Dolphin, but I will post pictures later this week!

Btw... redwings are red, and they go with the Diablo, but Flint Jackals are blue... and they rule!

Thanks! *still beaming* He's ten, the team is squirt level which is birth year 93 and 94s. He is going up to PeeWee level as of next week. In hockey, that means he can check and not end up in the penalty box! *which is where he did end up at today's game, but that is a defenseman for you!* Hockey and college? I hope so and he hopes so, but regardless the college part will happen and he can always play hockey with his friends in the adult leagues. I have a Wolverine/Spartan who wants to go to Harvard (have no idea why). We told him we'll be happy wherever he goes and if it means following a hockey scholarship to go for it if the college can offer what he needs.

What does this have to do with the Swan and Dolphin? His sister and he LOVED the place last June! Having a 9 and 17 year old not fight is almost a miracle in itself! They loved the room, the beds, and especially the grotto pool being open all night! (there, did I bring us back to topic? )

Hello, Nancy! Hope you enjoyed a nice trip with your DM in January. How was the cruise? Did she enjoy the Swan?

jgates~LOL...DOOR PRIZE?!? Yea...if you can pry it from my fingers! Even with the FEDS price, it's a bundle! But...a very pretty bundle at that. Oh, and the PIZZA at Tubbies is incredibly yummy for the price! We too...dash for the room to enjoy it piping hot. But, no more Disney club 20% discount...darn!

MT~just received my new issue of BOSTON magazine (courtesy of my DM). On the cover is a SOX player, and inside a FAB article on the SPORTS TOWN of BOSTON! Mmmm...did someone mention Lobster?

Muffy~Sounds delicious! DH used to LOVE the Whole Snapped served at Coral Reef. He tried a sea bass dish this past summer, and went ga-ga over it! I simply love seafood...any kind. Thanks again, for your info/suggestions.

Thank you for all of the congrats to DS! I am still on cloud nine, and he isn't even complaining about the double practices we're about to leave for tonight! I have thought about whether or not he saw "Love Story". We can't for the life of us figure out where "Harvard" came from, but dreaming big is fine! He's a normal rambunctious ten year old, who really intrigues us sometimes when he acts like he's at home while touring Versailles, or can suddenly tell us exactly where we are in London even though we're LOST! I guess I should be happy that our other child seems like this is her only life she's lived, and there are no pasts coming through! LOL

Hopefully DH will get the pictures online tonight, since I'll be gone. DF hasn't sent on his set to me, either.
