Madge ~ Have you started packing yet ? Someone asked me about Crystal Palace being on our breakfast vouchers. Would you mind checking yours. My DH has our locked away with the passes in our safety deposit box.

Let's see on topic....I used the laundry room at the Dolphin, its very close to Tubbi's. I found it to be clean and convenient to wash a quick load. I usually don't do any laundry on our vacations, but I remember having to use the laundry facilities on our last trip, yet I cannot remember why ...

I love the convenience of MGM and EPCOT to the Swan/Dolphin! Location .... Location..... Location

no, but I guarantee you my DH will try, LOL....he thought he stuffed our box pretty full last year. the CM at the register showed him otherwise <g>

we have zillions of nekkid potatoes, I never thought to just buy the accessories

packing? LOL, not really....I have the lists ready. I am notorious for over-packing. I am determined to really cut back this year. I'm glad to know where the laundry is. I plan on taking clothes for 6 days (we are there 9) and washing clothes one day. My kids are messy, though....makes me nervous packing this way, LOL!

breakfast vouchers? let me see....the only character breakfast listed at a theme park is the one at Animal Kingdom (the one at MGM is listed, but it isn't there anymore). The expiration date is 5/31/04

I have read of people using these vouchers other places, but I have no first-hand knowledge of it. we are usuing ours at one of the monorail resorts on Oct 5

On topic (since I have been bad about this lately!)

The fireworks in the Dolphin picture on this thread are not real, they are superimposed. You can, however, see the high illumination fireworks and the high fantasmic fireworks from your very own room if you are on a high floor ,(above the trees) and facing the proper direction!

Hi to all from the "other" Debbie...the one who has a hard time just keeping up with all the action here but doesn't manage to post!

DH and I are taking off early am. for a race near New Orleans. We will spend two nights at the W-French Quarter. I have corresponded with the GM there (what a wonderful man!) who offered to personally handle my reservation. I felt so special just to be offered that level of service! Go Starwood!

I've found out they are fully booked though, so it doesn't look like we'll get any upgrade. But wow, I have gotten emails from three W employees checking on our details and when we would arrive and what we might need to feel comfortable. I feel like a queen.

My kids are gone to Grandma's already so I'd better start packing!!

My oldest DD gets very excited when she sees our Disney counter for our Swan trip. And this is the one who groused her way through Disney last summer...she can't wait to go back.

I'm thinking of changing my sig. to "the other Debbie" or "Lurker Debbie" what do you think?

I never thought I'd make it into the yearbook because of my dull nickname. It does lack pizazz. The numbers are from my phone #. When I signed up I couldn't think of anything "cute"

Happy Birthday Lou!!

I leave for the Swan in just a few days and wanted to thank all of you for your advice. Thanks to this board I found out about the Recipe Club deal and have enough Starwood points to hopefully upgrade to a balcony room. Send me some pixie dust that an upgrade with points is available, please!!! I don't think I would upgrade to club level b/c I am already gettin $50 every 2 days in food credit. Thanks again!!
