When I compare the cost of this program to other "clubs" I am puzzled.

Disney Club - $29.95
Entertainment Book - usually about $50
AAA - cost me $40 this year
Travel America and many others........

All of these programs have many more benefits than this new program. Am I missing something?

Because when I look at the annual cost plus the $15 fee -- plus a $15 fee that I would be charged if I changed my mind.... It just does not look like something that would ever be beneficial to me.

As long as the cost of your vacation is more than $500, the membership will automatically pay for itself. If your vacation is more than $500...you're really saving even more money. You can still use your Disney Club discount, Annual Passholders discount, etc. with the DISavers Program. Also, there are no black-out dates that apply to this. Remember, whatever the final price of your vacation is (with all other discounts included), you'll get back another 10% on top of that!

Thanks,
Pete

If I spend 10,000 dollars on a 2 week stay at WDW, I can get 1000 dollars back if I use DISavers?

That is the beauty of DISavers, you use every discount you have access to and price out your vacation, let DISavers book it and save an additonal 10% (minus $15.00 fee). I have yet to see how this can be a bad thing :)

Seems to good to be true. What's the catch?

Gosh, I am so excited about this. I signed up for DisSavers today and can't wait to price out my next vacation. That discount will be wonderful.

aahmom... from the FAQ's

Can I get Disney tickets at a discount?

While we can not offer tickets only at a discount, you can book a basic package (room and tickets), and you will receive your DISSavers discount on the entire package.

I think that covers your question too Rajah, unless you had a specific type of restriction in mind

I don't see where there is a "catch" ubetiski....

Basically you, as the DISaver Member, are doing all the research into your vacation and looking for the best available price. The information you supply in your reservation request is then used to book that vacation. In essence, you do the front work, Dreams simply books it (for the $15 fee) and rebates it's commision to you.

That's my take on it anyway.

SO if I use a mousesaverscode and get the WL for 130 a night. I would call disavers and save an additional 10% less 15.00 commision? Do I need to call and verify the code and see if it is available or do I bool through DiSavers?

Hi Teri,

Actually the codes are WDW codes and available to everyone (you can also find up to date codes here at DIS).

All you have to do is the research to see if the code applies to your reservation. After you become a member, you just submit it to DISavers and if they can get the same price, they book it for you :)
