New Disneylander

Hey there folks,

I am from Oklahoma and have traveled to Walt Disney World many times throughout my life, but next year my family is planning on heading out west to Disneyland. I am really excited, but nervous...I am so familiar/comfortable with how to travel in WDW, but am a complete newbie when it comes to DL/DCA.

I will have lots of questions over the next 12-18 months, but to start....

Do any of you have some good Disneyland blog suggestions?
Anywhere from Trip Planning, to History, to Picture blogs, to just fun people talking about various Disneyland stuff....


Any help is appreciated

Hi, John! I'm an Oklahoman who is also an experienced WDW traveler, but will be new to DL next year. I think it's exciting to try something new, but also a bit nerve wracking to try to learn things that I feel I should already know.

Congrats on making the decision to come on over. This WDW vet went back in 2007 and it changed me forever!

Well isn't it a small world.

At first, when we first decided to go west, I figured well we'll do DL and find some other things in the area. As I have been listening to the DIS podcasts (both FL and CA teams) I am getting more and more excited about DL. Only 2 parks instead of 4, but it still seems like they have packed an amazing amount of fun into those 2 parks.
