I just opened up my mail and I had received an application for a Disney Visa (even though we have a joint one) in just my name. One of the inserts is advertising a new Dis Visa deal

"Get a 7-night vacation package for the non-discounted price of 4 at a select Walt Disney World Resort Hotel when you use your new Disney's Visa Card to purchase a 7-night Dream Maker package. Plus get 100 Disney Dollars at check-in"... "For New Disney's Visa Cardmembers"

This sounds alot like last years FTP....doesn't it?

I already booked our trip using the last Disney Visa Deal....kids stay and play free. But I think this new package would save me more money. I wonder if they would honor the new package even though I already hold a Disney Visa and it has been used (and used hard!!). I wonder if it is worth the phone call to find out?

this sounds great :)

we dont have a Disney Visa but may be worth getting one :)
I looked on the site but didnt see any info.
anyone know how much a 4 night stay will be for 2 adults & 2 children??
we will need 2 rooms also.
Thanks a bunch for any info :)

I have a Disney VISA and I just checked the website for this deal since we're going in July of this year. So far, the deal is not mentioned on the website. The one on there is the offer that expires today, so hopefully the new one will be up soon.

I wonder if this will only be for NEW Visa cardholders. It does sound like a good deal if it is open to ALL Disney Visa Cardholders.

Of course, I guess DH could always get a card in his name and then cancel it after the trip if it is only for new people (the one we have now is in my name). I guess we will see tomorrow if they list a new vacation package on their website since the current one ends today.

what were the available dates for this new deal?

:teeth: Was there a reference code? As the above poster asked, any dates given?

Thank you and have a great day.

Can someone post the website you're looking at for the deals? We just got this card so I'm new to it, have some learning to do... Thanks. :)

does anyone knows the dates for this program?

marcyinPA

do you still have the advertisement? Does it say anothing about dates, thanks in advance

just posting as I would love to know this info too.. Michelle

Just a bump because I would like to know too. :)

Hi all,

Thanks Twinsmomplusone for posting the info...I was in real estate school all day and not able to get to the computer!

I just called the 1-800 number on the ad I got and it is an automated number for the application process. I don't want to apply for the card until I know the deal! It says you have to book through WDTC and give them a code that BankOne gives you when you are approved. I wonder if WDTC can give me an idea on how much this trip would cost, as opposed to what I am paying on the current deal (kids play/stay free). If it is a significant savings, then I'll open up the card in my name and do it that way!

Hmmmmm....What to do!?

Ok, I just went onto Disneyworld.com and got the quote for a 4 night dream maker package....at POR ....and the savings of this deal vs. the deal I already have (kids stay/play free) is only about $155. Not significant enough of a savings for me to open up my own card. I feel better now...:)

Only $150 difference..thats not to bad. When you priced the 4 night package remember you are only getting the ultimate park hopper for the 5 days..with the visa deal you are getting it for the length of stay which is 7 nights right? Does that make a difference in the price?
Im already a VISA cardmember and am i little ticked that i can not benifit off of this deal.

there must be some deal for cardmembers
because we recieved an empty envelope from the
travel section, when we called the 800 we have they said
we had to call the travel number and my husband hasnt yet...
they have been getting lots of calls about empty envelopes.

Fantasmic...true, I didn't take that into consideration. Maybe I should just make the LONG DISTANCE phone call to WDTC....I hate making those calls! LOL

Or maybe I should just be happy with the deal I have....
