New Disney Visa "Inspire" card

So… best to cancel the premier and request this one? Or apply in addittion?
Looking to improve chances of approval
Tks
It depends on your 5/24 status most likely. Several people hold the regular card and the premier I would try and hold onto the premier and apply new but that’s me.
After being approved, I would then downgrade the premiere in hopes they give another upgrade offer to me.

Thanks! I dont recall my 5/24 status.. will have to check..

But i’m curious, why keeping the regular one?

Yes, but it says Disney resort so my thinking is if you charge the room everything you can then pay with that card to get your $200 on $2000 a.k.a. 10% back plus your 3% earned on Disney purchases
Just looking more closely at the terms and it states folio charges qualify so this should definitely work.

“Qualifying Purchases include Resort hotel rates (including associated taxes and fees) and folio expenses and Resort vacation package purchases (including Theme Park tickets purchased as part of a vacation package).”

The Disney cards have also offered "0% promo APR for 6 months on select Disney vacation packages" which applied to Direct DVC purchases, so I wouldn't interpret the wording too strictly. We'll have to wait for a straggler who hasn't paid their dues yet to apply for the card and give us their data point.

Finally! So I saw the signage last Tuesday which I guess means someone put it out on the wrong Tuesday.

Definitely could have met some of these spend requirements a week ago when we were there.

Anyone apply for it yet? I'm going to try for it since we have two more dvc direct payments coming up. But the question is whether to upgrade our Premier or try for a second Disney Visa. I'm getting a little burned out on the churning game by having so many cards out there.

Text at the top of the Chase site reads: "This product is available to you if you do not have any of these cards and have not received a new Cardmember bonus for any of these cards in the past 24 months."

So does that mean if I have Premier already that I can't also hold the Inspire card at the same time? It's saying the product being available to you, not just the bonus.

I think I'm in on this. The monthly Disney+/Hulu credit alone pays for the annual fee.

I applied. Got a “we need more time to review.” Not surprised. Have too many recent credit inquiries and they might also want me to reduce the credit limit on my Premier to get it approved. Will probably try to call later today and see if I can talk to someone. If it doesn’t go through, will probably just upgrade.

It says that at the top, but if you look at the offer fine print, it sounds like it is card by card. I figured I’d give it a shot. Last year, I received the sign up bonuses on both the regular and Premier (and both cards were applied for and approved within 1 week of each other).

Nope. Same as it always has been since they added PYB to the Disney cards.

It is still on all cards but the higher cards can wipe out Airline tickets

https://disneyrewards.com/terms/
"Disney Rewards Dollars may be redeemed for a statement credit using Pay Yourself Back® toward purchases made with your Disney® Inspire Visa® Card or Disney® Premier Visa® Card at select merchants within the 90 days before the redemption request date. "

This is the statement I was referring to. It was the first time I have seen the Inspire card mentioned on the Chase site.

I agree, the fine print says it applies if you don't already have this particular card.

I just got approved! Will cancel my Premier once this arrives.
