New Disney Visa "Inspire" card

No reckless speculation on what they'll offer?

One DVC lounge entry a year?
Maybe next DVC incentive round, $1500 off 150+ point purchases if you use this card?
Cut to the front of the line on the credit card exclusive character meet and greets?
9 month 0% financing?
Here's my baseless speculation:
  1. Applications go online Monday (February 2nd)
  2. Annual fee for new card: $500
  3. Perks will include:
    1. Nothing new that cannibalizes DVC membership. Remember the perpetual "DVC and ______ are two different departments at Disney" excuse for why DVC has limited crossover benefits for non-DVC stuff. With that being said, it will include free Membership Magic Beyond for eligible DVC members.
    2. $200 annual Disney hotel credit (can be applied to direct DVC purchases too)
    3. $15 monthly Lyft credit
    4. $15 monthly credit for Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+
    5. $50 annual credit to D23 membership
    6. Discounted park tickets if annual spend exceeds $75k
    7. Same discounts on Disney dining/merch that we're used to
    8. High multiplier on Disney spend (limited to $20k/year)
    9. Lower multiplier on categories like Groceries and Gas Stations
  4. But wait there's more: the existing Disney Cards get a refresh too, with different benefits.
My thought is that this will not be a "travel card" as much as a "deep pocketed Disney Adult" card.

I have to remind you that @LittleBitGoofy picture confirmed it was a Visa Signature and not a Visa Infinite.

Since the CSR (when it opened) and Ritz had the lowest Invinite AF's at $450 for Chase and Capital One offering the Venture X with a $395 Fee, I can't see a Visa Signature ever have that high of a fee.

With you keep mentioning DVC benefits I would think it would have to be an infinite as "Signature" requires a minimum of $5K CL while Infinite requires a minimum $10K CL. Obviously the CL can be more by why start with the smaller baseline?

I think at that annual fee it would be a Visa Infinite rather than Signature, but the ad said Signature

I doubt it would be an infinite though.

Unless they have added more recently Chase only has 2 infinite co branded cards with the Ritz and United which have fees of $450 & $695.
What makes an infinite special? I have the (legacy) Ritz card and don’t recall ever seeing anything about it.
Could you imagine, churros, dolewhips, mickey pretzels with plastic cheese in the lounges 😍.
Oh man, if they put even one of these treats in a lounge at LAX, I’d be first in one for the credit card.
And 10% off and free shipping on shopdisney.com for orders over $85.
This would be smart. At least 2-3x a year I’ve abandoned a cart with 2-4 things in it because “I’m pretty sure I can get it at the parks with my AP/DVC discount” that I never end up remembering or buying…but it’s having to pay for shipping that’s actually the dealbreaker. I’m at DLR and/or WDW monthly so it feels so wasteful to pay for shipping.

I never bought the new DVC magic band because they took away the discount for pre-arrival. Disney if youre reading this, I am waiting to purchase with pre arrival discount

Interesting....I was just looking at the pay yourself back option for Chase DV, it states " only available with premier or inspire card". Checked it out, not interested. Still a bit of a miss for me.

It has primary rental insurance for free you don’t have to file a claim with your company at all. They also offer some concierge services and usually have increased travel protection. If you had a CSP and a Ritz I would be putting the travel charges on the Ritz just for that.

I’m sure there are other things but beyond what I have mentioned I’m not sure which.

Nope. Same as it always has been since they added PYB to the Disney cards.

It is still on all cards but the higher cards can wipe out Airline tickets

Thanks looks like the fee was raised by $100 from the premier to $149

Increases gas and Disney from 2% to 3%

Disney streaming increased to 10% and gives a $10 statement credit each month.

Receive a $200 Disney Dollars for $2,000 in resort / Cruise per year.

Receive $100 statement credit per year after spending $200 in Tickets.

Looks pretty appealing actually.

Renewing an AP you can then pay $200 on this card to pick up 3% back and the $100 and pay for the rest with discounted gift cards.

So… best to cancel the premier and request this one? Or apply in addittion?
Looking to improve chances of approval
Tks

The big question for DVC members is whether this applies to DVC annual dues. If so, it becomes an easy $200 off - otherwise, I don't see myself paying $2000 out of pocket annually at Disney Resorts.

Earn 200 Disney Rewards Dollars

After spending $2,000 per anniversary year on U.S. Disney Resort and Disney Cruise Line bookings.
Yes, but it says Disney resort so my thinking is if you charge the room everything you can then pay with that card to get your $200 on $2000 a.k.a. 10% back plus your 3% earned on Disney purchases
