I believe she's the princess from the new "The Princess and the Frog" animated movie. There was a teaser trailer ages ago but I've not seen anything since. I know there was a big hoopla over her being the first African-American Disney princess, I think the film's set in New Orleans???

Great, looks like the movie will be classic animation by Disney too! The film has been produced by the makers of Aladdin and The Little Mermaid! If it's half as good as those two, then it won't be a bad film! Out in December I believe.

Her dress looks lovely, still, never be as good as my favourite Cinderella - no princess ever will be!

There was a clip of the film shown during the animation presentation at DHS last week. It looks like it will be a fun film (and not too girly for boys to watch.) I love the fact that it is a traditionally animated film.

The bottom of the dress is nice but around the bust area its not very flattering

Personally I perfer Giselles white dress over that one.

My girls asked me the other day when the new Princess film was out as we saw the trailer ages ago - I think the film has been hit by serious delays.

I think she looks great - I don't see the point of introducing a face character before the film is out, I prefer to judge the film/costumes as sometimes they don't translate as well in real life, I think it probably looks better in the film than on a face character - IYKWIM.

I saw this in the World of Disney in DTD last month.. i was staring up at the screen in amazement, it looks fantastic!

I think it was always due for a 2009/10 release date.. it's out in December in the US (I'm hoping to see it while in WDW!) so it'll probably be spring 2010 time it comes over to the UK

There is going to be a Princess & the Frog show in Liberty Square too!
