New Disney outlet stores

There's one opening at the Hershey Outlets, Hershey PA soon- Just down the road from the Park.

I have heard they are putting one in Concord Mills in Concord, NC. It was supposed to be open by late summer but still no news on a date. This was from the Concord Mills website. They still list it as coming soon.

That is only 2.5 hours from Roanoke.

I live about ten minutes from Concord Mills. They are moving the Children's Place outlet across the corridor. Once that move is completed they will move Disney Store into former Children's Place Outlet (which of course is the company that manages the Disney Store). They have deserted that area. Should leave plenty of area for Disney.

There is a Disney Outlet opening in November at Arundel Mills in Maryland.

There's also one at Opry Mills in Nashville. They had a little bit of everything -- somethings at discounts and others were regular price. . . Overall it wasn't quite what I had expected -- though I really can't tell ya what I expected.

Is the Opry Mills location still there, or has returned, or was this several years ago?

I don't the history of the outlet in Nashville. All I know is that I was there last Saturday shopping.

One has recently opened at Tangers Outlet in Riverhead, Long Island, NY.

I hope to see one in the midwest too - we're on Ohio - need one here!!

Is there a site with the list of new locations or are you just seeing signs at the malls announcing the new openings??

I believe the Outlet in Opry Mills might be the regular kind of Disney Outlet, like you find in FL. However, this might have changed, because when we went about 4 years ago, it was like the FL outlets.

It's my understanding that all of the "Mills" malls are now owned by Simon Malls, which has a Disney Store in every one of their malls. So, it's quite possible that if there is a FL style Disney outlet still in Opry Mills, it might be leaving or be joined by a Disney Store Outlet soon.

The Discover Mills Mall here in the Atlanta area had no Disney outlets, but is expecting to be getting a Disney Store Outlet in January. They have had construction delays. The best/worse part of this is that my favorite CM at my local Disney Store will be closer to where I live, but since I rarely go to the Discover Mills Mall, I doubt that I will be seeing as much of him.....even though I love a deal, Discover Mills is HUGE and there just isn't much to draw me into the mall. I was in Lancaster, PA this past weekend, Nov 11th.
THe Disney Outlet was not yet open. They had black plastic covering all the windows, so I couldn't see in. Hopefully they will open within the next couple of weeks.

I just found out the Mills Mall in St. Louis is opening the Disney Outlet in February. I guess I will have to settle for the regular Disney store when we go this weekend.

Nope - sadly not yet....made a trip there on Election Day and it was not open yet.
