I am a dreamer and have experience in marketing so I always visit places and look at things with the 'how could this be even better' eye. I love to think up ways to create new things. I have thought of a few Disney ideas. Does anyone else ever do this? Here are some of my ideas:

#1. I love dogs. I think Disney should create a show/attraction centered around the 4 legged friends of Disney movies. I think the cute little sidekicks often get overlooked and I would love to see a show or ride that focuses on this!

#2. I have DVR'd every Disney related show on the Travel Channel and I got to thinking, why doesn't Disney have their own Travel Channel? Here are the cool things they could show:
* Tour the parks at WDW, DL, Both cruise ships, and all overseas parks
* Sample shore excursions and the different ports of call for DCL
* They could do a Rachael Ray type food review for all restaurants in all parks
* They could do Samantha Brown tours of all hotels, not just the deluxes
* They could do game shows and have people visiting the parks participate and win prizes
* They could air the behind the scenes shows they currently have on the TC
* They could air the park tours they currently show on the TC
* They could do a budget show
* They could do a secret tips and tricks show
I don't know if they currently have something like this and I just don't know about it. It seems odd that they wouldn't. I know they have the one channel when you're staying there, but how is that going to market new people to come visit, or to stay onsite if the only people who can see it are the ones who are already there and staying onsite? Plus, it is the same info that loops over and over and IMO, it's a little boring.

Anyone else have any ideas? I love stuff like this :cheer2:

I think that they should build a replica of the TOT and make it into a real hotel. like you could stay there.

As a Food Network Junkie, I'd love it if Rachel Ray did that. Be good for Dis and the Food Network. :bitelip:

Ooh, I like that idea. I'd stay there in a heartbeat!

I think they should have a nostalgia world. Bring back all the rides they've trashed or gotten rid of. The 50 plus crowd (and I suspect folks even younger) would love it! The signature attraction, of course, would be Horizons. Add some old fashion amusement park rides and make one of them a wooden roller coaster.

Gut the Buzz ride and make it more like MIB.

Add a crazy river like the one at the water park in Cedar Point. Put it in BB.

Do something to the WWoS to make it a place I want to visit. Take local sports and games like Candlepin Bowling, Bocce, Duck Pins :rotfl: , whatever. Have competitions.

Sometimes I think Disney needs people who just love the parks more than those with 10 gazillion years of college and a degree in business administration.

I think that a House of Mouse restaraunt should be made with stadium seating that has long tables that stretch from one end to the other. You can eat your dinner and watch a disney movie at the same time. Perfect for when you want a great meal but don't want all the loud and craziness of a charcter meal.

Cool ideas ! I agree. We should step in and work for Disney. I think those 'suits' sometimes lose the vision because they are so wrapped up in their 'suits' :rotfl:

Snow.
Skiing.
Tubing.
Boarding.
Hot Chocolate.
Ski lounge.
Snow.
of course were talking while weraing shorts and t-shirts.

I just watched the Travel Channel segment on AK , and they kept mentioning how they have all this extra land and there is so much room to add more and make AK even bigger and better. Something I always felt was missing was an Arctic section. I love Polar Bears, and thought it would be neat to have an arctic area, and/or a marine life area. Dolphins, whales, fish, etc... Don't know how practical this is (especially the arctic stuff in Florida,) but it would still be neat!! I'm sure Disney could find a great way to do it without seeming too much like a zoo or like Sea World too!
