Chase hasn’t been tracking very well recently. We had to call for a 10% off a Hyatt booking. That was a full $35!

I’m careful now to track chase.

While most of my Amex offers have posted, I had 2 in the last month that did not. Of the Pepper offer that I had on 7 cards, it posted properly on 6 of the cards but on one card I used the offer on November 22 and the credit has not posted. I also had an offer from NJ Transit (the trains and buses here in NJ) and it posted properly on 2 of the 3 cards but on one card I used the offer on December 10 and the credit has not posted.

Unfortunately, when I called Amex, they said the terms say the credit can post up to 90 days after the offer ends, so they said they can only manually credit once the 90 days are up. So now I have to wait until the beginning of April to call them - what a pain.

Hey all. Brand New to this thread and just looked over the first few posts. Paralysis by analysis for sure lol ..

I'm trying to get enough giftcards together to pay my annual dues in January. I'm about $3000 shy.

I have Amex, Chase Ink, Chase Freedom, and a bunch of other Chase. Costco member, just realized they no longer offer Disney GCs though.

I'm mostly focused on saving the most amount of cash on the purchase as opposed to points. But will go with points as secondary.

It seems like my best option for points would be to use my Freedom at my local grocery store for the 5x or Ink at Staples.

But aside from that, are these any other good cash saving deals out there??

The Target red card is 5% back all the time.

Yeah, I don't get that...it's not difficult to see on Post #2 there are hardly any DGC deals. We recently had some great stackable offers (up to 20%) so I don't think we'll be seeing anything new anytime soon.

Due to the lack of help required to maintain the thread, you'll need to stay on top of the pages as offers may or may not be posted on Post #2. If an offer becomes available, it will be listed here first.

Yeah, you're kinda late for your DVC dues. Your best bet now would be Freedom card for 5%. You might be able to earn Fuel Perks on the gift cards purchased at grocery stores that offer them (Kroger/Hy-Vee/etc) which will increase your savings.

If you can, you should pop into this thread every couple of weeks to see if there is a new deal. I usually save 10-15% on my DGCs but always fall back on the 5% Target discount when I need a few dollars more.

One quick note about Amex offers that I expect most here already know but that I ran into. Unlike visa accounts, Amex treats each card separately even if on the same account. So when I select a Chase offer, it doesn't matter which card on the account uis used to redeem. For Amex, it does. I selected an offer when logged into my account. My wife then used her card to make the qualifying purchase. No redemption. The offer is by card, not just account, so it didn't qualify. Thankfully they credited it after I called, but still a pain.

Have to remember to get a separate online account for each cardholder and select the offers card by card in the future if I want to use a different one to redeem. Assuming the offers are the same and the may not be,

Had a discussion with the customer service rep where he tried to explain to me that shouldn't the cardholder who bought the item get the benefit? I explained that it is one account, with one statement and one payment, so it didn't really matter which 'card' it was on. We agreed to disagree.

Does make me wonder if they would honor the offers separately if I added it to each card and then used it on each card. I didn't think they would. Maybe they do. Then again, maybe they just don't add the offers to each cardholder. I don't use the card that much so I really don't know.

Don't AMEX cards have different numbers for each card on an account?

Amex limits offers by SSN.

Of note if you add an offer to your wife’s AU she wouldn’t then be able to add it to any card, even cards for which she is the primary.

Very generous Offers!

Amex offers are limited to one per SS#, which is why the offer only works on the card it is loaded to. Amex considers authorized users a totally separate card regarding offers, which is why it has a different credit card number. If you got a rep to credit you for that, consider yourself very lucky and don't count on getting them to do that a second time.

I had that same problem a few years ago and now make a point of using DH's card # on any of the AMEX promotions to be safe. The rep I spoke with told me they had added me but why take a chance.

Your authorized user can add the offer to their card if available and it is possible it is also on your card as well.

I was able to do this in December (After I raised DS Spending limit at the register after I kept getting declined since I only had it set for $200 🤦‍♀️) by purchasing a $250 DGC at best buy with DS card and doing the same with my card. Both $25 credits showed up on the account.

Looking to get a discounted Sam's Club membership to get discounted Disney gift cards. Can anyone share the current price for the $100, $200, $500 cards?

If the website has a limit "per order" is that literally just at the time and you can later place additional orders? (e.g., for $500 cards it has a limit of "2 per order.)
