Yes, very scary! Fortunately, they detected the changes before any menus shipped, so they never reached any guests. The criminal complaint states no one was harmed - thank God!

Yep I tried doing just 1 gift card and just get the pop up that I’ve already reached the max of 4. I even added some to cart then tried to login at checkout but then it removed from my cart because I’d already purchased the max.

I have tried all of this, as well. Last year, I got more, but I think I had to wait a day or two in between. Fingers crossed, I could use a few more!

Mine arrived a few min after purchase. Did you get the shipping email from Sam’s? Check your junk mail?

My first order arrived immediately after purchase, my second order sent the notification after about 15 minutes, so I am in waiting mode myself. Not too worried though, should be soon.

I'm wondering if this is less a Sam's Club glitch and more a digital gift card fulfillment service glitch. They use a vendor called InComm Payments that offer a gift card fulfillment service. Their integration may not be playing well with Sam's customer or inventory databases. I noticed that there's some sort of cross check between systems by the way the non-Sam's Club order check landing page shows the gift cards. For example, I bought 4 and all 4 were shown on one single page. I wonder if Sam's Club is pinging InComm's servers to check if/how many gift cards were distributed to the purchaser, but for some reason the InComm server is providing the wrong answer.

This could explain why stevevm was able to purchase more than 4, because InComm hasn't recorded he's already purchased 4(for some reason) and when Sam's Club asks that server how many he's bought, it returns 0. It could also explain why some people were only able to buy 2 and some people weren't able to buy any at all. There's just a disconnect between SC and InComm.

I don't look for a loop hole, I just have other people buy them for me. I bought 4 and then had my boss and co-worker buy 4 each for me, so I am set for our New Years trip

If my 2024 DVC dues are already paid, can I apply these gift cards now to make a negative balance that will be applied to 2025 dues once they post?

It will apply the gift card to your 2025 dues, but reduce your total and you will still have monthly payments, beginning in January, based on the reduced total.
If you want to push up your payments, you should wait until the dues post to your account to apply the gift cards.

I have the same problem. I ordered around 4:00 yesterday afternoon and nothing so far. I checked the link provided by a previous poster and no luck there. I guess I'll have to wait the full 48 hours before I really panic.

I have to ask is there a benefit to buying right when the deal starts? I read a lot of posts about people rushing to buy right when the promotion started. I've usually waited until the last day and never had an issue - this was thr earliest I ever got them (the night of the first day).

I'm genuinely asking because if there's some extra benefit to being among the first to buy, that would be helpful. No problem with anyone buying whenever most convenient for them so that's great to get them first thing.
