Yup your math is right. I wouldn’t do the membership just for this that’s for sure.

Can't you cancel the membership and get a prorated amount back? Or will they claw back whatever your savings were?
I ask because last year I purchased the membership for the extended return window, and when I made sure to cancel it a few days before the automatic renewal, I was credited back some money

This is my first time having the paid membership. I got it when I price matched a blu ray player late last year and it saved me hundreds on that player during the 90 day adjustment period and on my new television. The DGCs savings are just the cherry on top!

I agree I don't think I would purchase it just for these deals considering how hit or miss BBY is with quantity limits and the fact you can't use it on a business account.

Ugh! I was scared about fraud alerts so I shifted spend to a new card I was trying to hit a different bonus on.

Don't forget the points you're earning on whatever card you purchase your BB GC from that you aren't earning at Target. If you've got, say, the AmEx with 3% for online shopping, that's close to the 5% you're getting at Target.

That happened to me, but I could buy more the next day. For some reason, after I bought the first three, I can only get 2 cards on subsequent orders. I have been able to get 9 cards.

I have been able to get 12 so far. I will try it at 48 hours later this afternoon and if that cancels I give up lol

Don't forget the points you're earning on whatever card you purchase your BB GC from that you aren't earning at Target. If you've got, say, the AmEx with 3% for online shopping, that's close to the 5% you're getting at Target.

I always use my US bank cash plus card for Best Buy - always have electronics stores as one of my 2 quarterly so I get 5% back on Best Buy.

I was just able to order cards 13, 14 & 15. Monday, I ordered 2 sets of 3 at 10:30 pm. (Cards 1-6). Didn’t order any Tuesday. Yesterday I ordered 1 set of 3 at about 10 am. (Cards 7-9) I decided around 9 pm to do another set. (Cards 10-12). I tried to get another set right away & got the limit exceeded message. Tried now, 24 hours after yesterday’s first order & was able to order. Got the emailed cards as usual.

I need to stop now.
