They ran a promo recently - spend a certain amount (I think it was $250) by 2/9 and get $15 to use between 2/11 and 2/17.

Like, @larry47591 I also used mine to get a $25 gift card for $9.49. That's a 62% savings on this one card. Overall this year I have saved 15% on $50 worth of gcs for next year's dues (or maybe a trip) - all from using BJ's coupons.

Thanks I didn’t think I spent that much but maybe I did lol

Mine said "spend $150 by 2/9 and get $15 between 2/11 and 2/17. I bought $175 worth of DGC but the $15 coupon hasn't shown up...hopefully tomorrow.

On the BJs homepage before 2/9 it said something like "get ready for the big game.....spend $150 on almost anything" - and it was mostly super bowl type things - food, tvs......

I didn't look at the whole list of what "almost anything" was but I guess DGC don't help you get ready for the game. :)

It was a $150 spend, not $250
BJ's is running a new promotion now. It's a Stock Up and Save promotion. If you spend $100+ on participating items from 2/11 to 3/8 (listed on the website), you get a $20 BJ's reward that can be redeemed from 3/12 to 3/25. If you spend $200+ on the participating items from 2/11 to 3/8, you get a $50 BJ's reward!

Side note- does anybody know if these rewards can be used on a membership renewal?

I couldn't find the terms either when I made my purchase other than "practically anything"....but that is definitely the offer.
The practically anything was more geared towards snacks and sodas when I had looked in store but maybe it was more "anything"...

Thank you for finding that. I do see giftcards excluded. I didn't see that before. I'm not concerned, I needed the giftcards anyhow.

So I have a Target Bonus for $25 after $250 in spend. I have bought 3 of the One4All Ultimate $50 gift cards so far, since they have a deal for a $5 Target gift card with the purchase of a $50 One4All Ultimate. Even though the deal says limited 1 per Target Circle Account, the system is not enforcing this so each $50 purchase earns another $5 Target gift, but to be sure I have been waiting 12 hours between orders.

What is interesting is that in the past the $5 Target gift card would reduce the qualifying spend towards the bonus by $5; however, it seems this time the system is counting the full $50 as qualifying since it says I have spent $150 towards the bonus.

Anyways, when all is said and done, after buying $250 in One4All Ultimate gift cards, I should get $25 in Target gift cards and $25 in Target Circle Rewards plus the Target Redcard Discount.

I suspect the store manager has mixed up the policy with merchandise return cards. That’s their policy on merch return cards and the person redeeming is ID checked to make sure it was issued to them. There is no way to check verify the ID of the gc purchaser.

I don't think a manager is at fault here, the cashier obviously wasn't paying attention during their training.
Anyway, I went to another HD today to pick up a few more items and had no issue whatsoever. I did not use self-checkout.

I think I had that same offer but the $150 didn’t include purchase of gift cards. I just received an email to check my coupons for the $15 reward.

I just did my first target circle deal to get $15 back on buying Disney gift cards. How often do these deals come to your account? I want to order about $1000 in Disney gift cards soon but wondering if I should wait a bit to see if I get another.

In my experience, it’s unpredictable. I received several last year and used them all, but I accidentally missed using one I got in January and haven’t gotten one recently when others have.

Went to Home Depot a few days ago and was surprised the cashier asked for my ID/Driver's license when I proceeded to pay for my items with a HD GC. :sad2: WTH? I said no, and he said it would not go through unless I gave it to him. Um, no again, let's just test your theory. It went through just fine. It was less than $50 bucks. I asked if there was a limit and he said nope, it's anytime you use a HD gc. Seriously stupid.

I understand if I were buying large sums of any third party gift cards but I wasn't. I was buying merchandise. Just merchandise. When did this all change?

So many store closures; Big Lots!, Joann Fabric, Kohl's & Macy's, Walgreens
I'm positive there are many more including a few restaurants. Make sure you check your gift card stash so you don't waste your money!
Joann’s closing list came out & it’s more than half the stores - 500 locations.
Do check if you have gift cards. They are closing all the locations in my state.
