New Disney Deal w/ Ticket Upgrades

Hi All...

DBF and I trying to plan a summer vacation to the World. Nothing too fancy, will probably stay in the Value resort, as we are planning to go back after the first of the year. I came across the new deal w/ Disney that upgrades your tickets from the base ticket to one with hopper and options. It sounds good...but I'm just afraid that that paying in full by the middle of April will not be realistic for us. (both college students who save our money for Dinsey ) How many of you are taking advantage of this deal...or are we really going to lose out if we decide to go at the end ofthe Summer?
I've check the price difference...we always do the Dining Plan with our package as well....and it is only a difference of $100-$200.

I booked this deal. Initially, we had booked our trip in Oct/05 and were staying at ASMo (05/03-05/09) with 7 day park passes with hoppers and dining plan also. I heard about the deal and called to change my reservation, but they wouldn't let me apply it to ASMo... so I switched to POP. I ended up only saving about $70, but now I get to go to the water parks and DQ for free and I've never gotten to do them before.
