Well, I got my new Disney Credit Card the other day (the LE Castle one) and I had a bear of a time getting the sticky glue off the front from the "Call Before Using" sticker. It was terrible, eventually my wife tried nail polish remover, and it really ruined my card. So I called and told them about the problem, mostly to warn them in case this was not a unique problem. I was told that they would send a replacement card, but please be forewarned. I have never had a problem with the glue on the warning label, it was like the paper came off but all of the glue was left on the face of the card.

Exact same thing happened to me last week when mine arrived(Mickey and Friends) and I thought it was me...never had that happen before. I used Skin so Soft(Avon) but you might be able to use oil or goo gone but be careful . :earsgirl:

Same here, those stickers leave some nasty residue. Anyone tried anything else to get it off? I was thinkg goo gone also, but have not tried yet for fear it would melt the card.

WE had the same problem but just used our fingernails. Washing the hands became a new problem

Use the blow dryer to heat it up before trying to remove the sticker. Usually this helps. I have had this problem before and Goo Gone also works well.

I had a tough time and used the goo gone on mine, a few seconds and all the residue disappeared!

We haven't had experience with that particular sticker - but I know in the pas I've used a little vegetable oil or olive oil and it works great... just a little bit and work at it w/a fingernail.

Lol...try this: put a little smear of peanut butter over the sticky part before you go to bed. In the morning wipe it off with a bit of paper towel. Voila. No sweat and a picture perfect castle! Honest. I do this for every sticky label I want to remove from anything plastic or metal.

same problem. used goo gone to get it off. have not used the card yet to see if the brown code thing on the back was damaged.

Oh! Do you think it would work if I licked it off?! I LOVE peanut butter!!! :earboy2:

I had the same problem with my card. I used just a drop or two of Goo Gone. Did the trick well enough. Still a small bit on there, but I can't stick the card to my finger anymore. :teeth: Did think about ordering a new card, just because it was so annoying, but the same thing would probably happen again!

Same thing with our cards. I used it and it got stuck in the card reader. Still don't have it all off.

After an different sticky situation - new computer with stickers all over the harddrive - I let DH in on my secret.....baby wipes.

Babywipes take off any type of sticker with no damage to the item. I've used them for years for labels and sticky residue. I guess after little DD gets potty trained, I'll have to still buy wipes. LOL!

Wow, I thought I was the only one with this problem.
