Disney are to test "Bendy Busses" They are 62ft long, with 3 axles and can carry 112 people. They will be testing the bus throughout March and into mid-April of this year. If the trials go well the aim is to use these buses on the busy routes between the parks and the Value / mod resorts. Disney first tested a similar bus in the early 90s without introducing them.

You guys who are in disney during March/April, it will be interesting to hear your views on these buses.

I remember one year (think it was '06) they tested an eco-friendly bus. It was much quieter and didn't have plumes of black smoke coming out the back. They never rolled that out, such a shame:sad2:

I was thinking the same thing! I wonder how many guests they'll be able to cram into these new busses!

Wow that will be a nightmare as a bus that long will block the stop behind the one it stops at.

bendy buses are much more difficult to drive than the regular ones...
WDW has had a number of bus accidents in recent years, that will probably increase with the introduction of these buses.

Google "Top Gear Bus racing in Lidden Hill " to find out the best bus.

Bit more space in WDW for bendy buses than Central London! Should send Ken Livingstone over there to ride on them :lmao:

I can see these being of benefit after the evening parades/fireworks when there is a mass exodus from the parks but not the rest of the time.

Lets face it - the rest of the time we don't all want to go or return from the parks at the same time so more buses more often is the solution
