New DISer's big surprise...

Just got back from a long weekend to celebrate my 35th birthday (or 21 for the 15th time as Ian at Rose and Crown put it! ) and as a new DISer I just have to say the lime green buttons really work.

I was standing with my DH on Main Street getting ready to watch Wishes when I noticed the two women standing next to me were wearing lime green DIS buttons. I remembered my DH mentioning that lime green was the color to look for, but having joined just before our trip I could not have imagined just how cool it would be.

Ok, I'm new at this, what does Lime Green buttons mean???

Members here at DISboards have sort of adopted lime green to be their unofficial - "Official Color." Going to Home Depot, people have been known to take several of the Alien green Disney paint sample cards and use them to create buttons, laminate them, etc. I often wonder if the folks with Home Depot / Glidden ever question why they go through a million of the sample cards but don't seem to be selling that much of the paint!
