A new sample sale site launched today just for designer wedding gowns, called The Aisle New York. It works like Haute Look, Rue La La, etc. in that the sales last a limited time, but they only sell wedding gowns and accessories.

You have to sign up, but membership is free and you don't need to be invited by a member.
Right now they're running sales on Monique Lhuillier, Angel Sanchez and Elizabeth Fillmore gowns, plus Oscar de la Renta accessories and Suzanne Couture Millinery.
I guess the discounts are good, but most of the gowns they have up right now are still thousands of dollars. I think this site would be good if you had your heart set on a specific gown from a designer that you can't usually find discounted elsewhere online, like eBay or Bride Power.
