New digital camera Panasonic TZ3

Was wondering if anyone has the Panasonic TZ3 digital camera and if it is worth getting one? Or is it better to stick with a Canon or some other brand? I am looking for camera to take good pictures indoors and in low light settings. Any suggestions.

While I dont own the TZ3 we do have two Panasonic cameras in the family.

They "can" take decent pictures in low light conditions but IMO they are not exactly IDEAL.

The TZ series strength lies in its small size while still having a 10x zoom, and daytime shots can be amazing. But high ISO exhibits more noise than Canon, Sony or Fuji at the same speed ISO. It does have Optical image stabilization, but the lens does not help as it is slowest(aperture) among other leading ULTRA ZOOMS.

Thanks for the info. It is hard to pick out a good camera. The only cameras I have are Kodaks and I am getting tired of them.
