Dear Allison,
OMGOSH, I know! We're only on Ch.5. We just got done reading about how he got his gold crown removed with a RUSTY SPOON! OMG :/ And then the sad-eyed angel was still alive when he was hung. Absolutely disgusting that this went on. I'm going to end up bawling my eyes out by the time I'm finished with this book.
It so didn't help that we watched Pearl Harbor in my class right after that :/

Dear Allison,
I don't like hanging's either. I can't even imagine having to witness what went on in those concentration camps. I met a bunch of Holocaust survivors in December, and it was so sad. They all got up and left when they put on a clip of children from the Holocaust. My teacher told our class today that only 11% of children survived the Holocaust, or around that percentage. Ugh. It make's me sick.

I want to go, too. There's a Holocaust Museum in Miami, I think, I really want to go to it. I'm taking a Holocaust/African American Studies class next year, so maybe my teacher will take us. Yup, 11%. I couldn't believe it! Those poor children.
