I was just reading on Mousesavers that the dates for MNSSHP have been released. I thought they had already been released since I have seen posts about the first night being Sept. 29. :confused3 Mousesavers now show September 15 and 22. We will be there on the 22nd so my first thought was :thumbsup2 , but now I am wondering if it is worth it since it would add another $110. to our trip. Is this to early to start Halloween?

Well, just when I thought all of my planning was close to being wrapped up and all ADR's were final.... :rolleyes1. Oh well, just gives me more reason to read the boards. :rotfl:

I am planning on an MK day on 9/15 with CRT for lunch. That is the night that I was hoping to see Wishes!

I purposefully picked that week for my trip because it was in between Night of Joy and MNSSHP. I don't want to pay for hard ticket events to stay in the park for the evening. Making this a ticketed night would put a dent in my Magic Kingdom plans. I don't have hoppers, so I'll have to decide whether to do the MK that day anyway and go back to the room early or whether to go to another park, which would mean missing CRT.

Does anyone have official word about whether the dates did change for the party??

What time does the MK close to people who do not have tickets to MNSSHP??

Thanks for any information!

According to All Ears Net the first night is Sept. 29. That is the night we are planning to go. It is our first MNSSHP.

Disneyworld.com shows a 9:00pm close on 9/15 and 8:00pm on 9/22. Those dates seem really early for a Halloween Party.

If the park stays open for non-party guests until 6, then I guess I'd still go to the MK that day. We wouldn't see Wishes then, but we could keep our CRT ADR and ride rides like crazy until 6.

Disney might have extended the dates, or maybe Mousesavers has a mistake? :confused3

I found it on this site also (http://www.wdwinfo.com/holidays/halloween.htm)

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

The dates for 2006 are: September 15, 22, 29, October 2, 5, 6, 10, 12, 16, 17, 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30, 31

Still didn't see anything on the official Disney site, but that isn't always a suprise. The official site seems to always be the last to be updated. :p (They still do not show it on the calender for Sept. 29 either.)

I would not plan my vacation around it until the Disney web page posts it. I know that they usually post things after we have already heard them here on the DIS, but it isn't official until Disney posts it. Allears and Intercot as well as Disney.com (doesn't have it listed, but does show park closing at 6pm) and all the cast member information that has been issued have September 29 as the first date for MNSSHP. That could change in the days to come, but then again it might not...
