Has anyone needed to replace their curtains in their camper? :confused3 We have a 1991 HiLo and I just took all the curtains down to wash them and I noticed they are starting to show some signs of wear. In fact, a couple of them have small tears starting! :earseek: Anyone know where you can get replacement curtains? Ours has 2 rods that hold the curtains in place (a lower one as well). I don't know too much about sewing but thought maybe that would be an option...I could use fabric glue right???!! ;)

Try you local RV dealer or try camping world. Most RV's have the same size windows so finding curtains might be easy. Well good luck hope this helps.

Several years we purchased an older camper and completely refurbished it inside. I purchased new curtains at Wal-Mart and at JCPenney's. No need to go to the expense of purchasing them at an RV dealer 'cause they are very expensive at dealers. RV dealers also don't typically keep them in stock, they order them from the manufacturers as needed.

i too replaced ours.. bought them at walmart, just used the valances as we have the day/night shades, which the string broke and had to replace the "bobbin" thingie.. I just used the plastic bobbins from my sewing machine. much cheaper than Camping Worlds,I also found some mickey curtains at our local goodwill and use them for our trips to the fort. I'm still on the hunt for mickey lights .. we have the nightmare before christmas ones.. a must have during our Oct trips.DD made tiny santa hats this year so we can use them Christmas time.

Regular curtains won't work in our camper. Since we have a HiLo, which raises and lowers, the curtains have to be connected at the bottom as well. I decided to make them myself. We went into Walmart, found a fabric that we liked and bought a bunch of it. I don't sew anything more than a button or fallen hem so I bought that iron tape (stitchwitchery??). I used the old curtains as a pattern for size, cut it, made 2 pockets for the upper and lower rods and hung the first 2 curtains yesterday. They look pretty good if I do say so myself!! (2 down, 5 more windows to go :rolleyes1 )
