As a labor and delivery nurse i see how men deal with the trials of their wife's labor every day and i have seen lots of people surf the net, talk to friends on cell phones and do other crazy things while their babies are being born just to have an outlet for all their stress (after all it is their main job to be our support and they can't freak out on us, can they?)....

Congrats on the new baby...we expect pictures and stats when possible...you will be amazed at the lack of "free time" you now have after a baby comes home!!!

I'm glad we could be there for you to help you get through this! And remember, nurses love treats so bring some candy to your nurse if she did a great job...she will remember it and it will be special, trust me!

Sorry for the delay in posting. We have been blessed with the overwhelming company of our new DD !!!! Standing 19" and weighing in at 6lbs. 11 oz. and captivating m heart with the most beautiful eyes, cheeks, nose, smile, hands, feet to hair she is my heart. I cannot thank you all enough for offering your prayers for my family. Your caring and compassion is so much appreciated by me and my family that I can not express it in a simple message, I can only say thank you all. My wife and I found a great deal of comfort knowing that loving families all across this country were offering up prayers to watch over us, and at 1:20 AM Pacific time this morning we met our beautiful daughter Alexandra!!!! Mom is doing very well after some much needed rest and I promise to post pictures as quickly as I get home to do so. Once again thanks for all of your thoughts as well as your patience.
