Anybody know whether Disney is planning to add more ships to its fleet or whether there are any plans to do cruises that are longer than 7 days, such as a 10 day etc. 7 days just goes by too quickly. Thx.

I really wouldn't expect to see any Disney cruises longer than 7 nights. Longer cruises tend to appeal to retirees more than to families who have to schedule their vacations based on school breaks and working parents. Not only that, but DCL's menus and show schedules are based on the premise of 3-, 4-, and 7-night cruises.

Actually, If DCL adds another ship, I would like to see a 2-week rotation consisting of one 4-night cruise and two 5-night cruises. For many families, a 5-night cruise would be a great compromise between what the Wonder and Magic now offer.

The only way I could see cruises longer than 7-nights would be if DCL were to operate a ship in Florida part of the year and in California part of the year. That would mean a repositioning cruise through the Panama Canal twice a year -- and such a cruise could be very popular with repeat DCL passengers seeking something different.
