I have some of the info that is being released during regionals. It's not a big secret, most of us have known for a week or more at least. I think consultants (I know I am one - heehee) and uplines like to really make a big to do and get everyone all psyched up. Me - I'm not one for surprises. I'm going to list what I know. Premiere Tanzanite Album $36
The color is very soft. Somewhere between Lavender and Light Blue. Available through 2/28/04.

Circle & Banner Titletopia letter and sticker aligners $8 set
Great for lining up ABC/123 Stickers or writing titles in banners or circles.

Circle Maker $20
Just like the Square Maker. Cuts 1 1/2" and 1 1/4 inch circles. Comes w/a round container to hold your cut pieces.

Why did I look????!!!!!! I can't stand not knowing everything...even with just a week to go until my convention. That Tanzanite album sounds great. They just came out with so much new stuff in Scraps I was thinking if they were going to bring out much more. How exciting!!

I just became a consultant...last month! So...I can't go to convention. POOH!

I did know about alot of items...but somehow missed the power layouts...which sounds like a MUST HAVE!

Now if I could teach myself to do CM layouts. I am still using lots of paper and supplies from my LSS and spending at least a hour a layout. With the 14 years of pictures I still need to crop, I will never finish unless I start using some power layouts.

The Disney Snappack sounds interesting. Will need to check that out next time there is a party in my area.

Although I have to admit that I don't use much CM product, simply because it takes forever to get. I placed an order through a party in early Nov. which I still don't have. The friend who hosted the party JUST this past weekend received a call to pick up the orders and found that they weren't complete! I should have half of my order when I see her tonight.

Fortunately there wasn't anything I was desperate for. Guess that is why I prefer my LSS - either they have it or they don't.

Man, that stinks that you don't get your stuff soon after it's ordered....I think you have a not so great consultant. I do an equal amount of shopping with CM and my LSS, and luckily my CM consultant practically has a store in her house--- she puts all of the money she makes with CM and puts it back into product to sell. Rarely has she had to order anything unless it's brand new. I had a scrapbook party last month, and we did it at her house, and when people gave her their orders, she went upstairs, and voila, 10 minutes later everyone had their bags full of their merchandise. I guess what I'm saying is, if you like the products, maybe you should try and find a different CM dealer who is more on the ball! Good luck!

Your consultant sounds wonderful. Although there are odds and ends - such as some of the snappacks, a few stickers, etc that I like I am perfectly happy with what I can do (most of the time unless I get an odd need like my Wizard of Oz thread) at my LSS. And they know me so well that when particular unusual items come in they will call me if I don't get there for a few days.

They just received some wonderful new football stickers and Boy Scouting items. As soon as I walked in the door one of the girls was ready to point them out to me! Guess she knew a sale when one walked through the door! LOL!

Something is DEFINITELY wrong if you ordered something in November and haven't received it yet. I hardly keep any inventory (just the basics) and I have never had to wait more than 3 days to get an order. If I were you I would check into where your product is (I'm assuming you have paid for it?). In my opinion something is wrong..if I were you I would check into that.

Yes, it was paid for - although I apparently made a minor addition error and didn't include the amount for one set of cruise stickers. Instead of checking on it the consultant just deleted it from the order. The friend who hosted the party has been checking and it seems the consultant held the orders until after Christmas. She was just "too busy" to get through the processing paperwork.

Once the product did arrive (last week so I'm betting she didn't process until after New Year's sometime) she told the hostess she would have to pick up the orders but she wouldn't be around any weeknights - it would have to be weekdays or Saturday afternoon, naturally the hostess works during the day. So I'll be getting most of my order tonight and the missing items soon (I hope!)

But you're right it shouldn't be this way. Unfortunately it seems like many (not all but too many) of the home party product consultants in our area are not really committed to what they are doing - sort of a hobby.

Well enough venting for now. I am looking forward to getting my order - FINALLY!

I really hope you can find a new CMC. MOST CMC's are not like that. I personally hate for my customers to have to wait for product. I carry basics in inventory (pages, protectors, a few albums, stickers, tape runners, etc.) and if I don't have something, I'll trade with another CMC to get it. IF I have to order it, I make sure the customer knows.

I also have most items on hand, and if I have to order it has never taken more than 3 days - even during the holidays! Check the CM site for another consultant in your area.

CM must have gotten new sticker artists. They are much better than the old stickers. Wish they would add some of the pattern letters to the line permanently.

Can't wait for the Disney SP! Got the pics back from our Jan trip and we'll be there again for Spring Break!

The african themed paper and stickers are already on-line at CM. Will have to call my cousin and see when I can put in a order ( still have some credits due me ) ! Also saw some spring stickers that are really cute. I didn't see the tanzanite album though . I would really be interested in this depending on how blue it is . ( my fav. color ).

I bought the Disney snap-pack last Tuesday and I have it in my hot little hands. It has several of the same Mickey stickers that are in the Mickey combo pack, some Pooh (same ones that are in the Pooh combo pack), some Alice, some Jungle Book, Peter Pan & Tinkerbell, Toy Story (namely Buzz & Woody), Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket, some sticker strips, and lots of punch out squares, triangles, strips, etc, plus a very nice idea book- not just a pamphlet like you get with most CM products..it's an actual idea book. Oh and it has a block sheet of the princesses heads & shoulders- Belle, Jasmine, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, & Ariel. I would say that $13.50 would be pretty steep for the product if it didn't come with the book, but the book makes it worthwhile- for me anyway.

I saw the Tanzanite album and it's beautiful. A very soft blue, almost periwinkle color. I'm definitely going to get one as my 2003 album (I bought a cranberry one specifically for our WDW trip) and I may even buy 2 since it's supposedly only a limited edition color. I bet if the demand is high they might keep it permanently. It would be perfect for a baby book (esp baby boy) or even a wedding album. Some other neat items were the new shaped cutters (star and kind of a flower shape) and I bought the Rick Rack pack of borders.

Hey Alice28, how did you get your Disney snap pack already?!? My CMC told me that it was not available until March. I could really use it now, we just got back from WDW on Feb 1 and I have 20 rolls of film that I need to scrap!!! Should I call my CMC and see if she can get it sooner than March?

We are ICED in here in NC (about 3 inches where I live) and I sure could use that pack to get me motivated. Even though baking choc. chip cookies sounds like a lot more fun!!! Thanks for any help you can give me.

My consultant emailed everyone the "spoiler" about 2 weeks ago and asked that if we were interested in any of the products to let her know which ones, and that she would order the right amount. Then she held an open house last Tuesday night, and she had plenty of all the new items on display, with extras to buy. They were definitely available, along with the new catalogs with all the new products in them. I know that according to these posts at least, I am fortunate to have a CMC who is really on the ball and has lots and lots of products available at all times. Let your consultant know that you want to buy it asap and hopefully she will get the ball rolling! Good Luck with the weather- I feel fortunate being on the West Coast and not having to deal with the snow that is being dumped out there! Take care!

Thanks for the fast response Alice28. Too bad my CMC isn't as quick to respond. She used to really be on top of things, but she seems to be sliding lately. I ordered a simple black 7x7 album 3 weeks ago and it still hasn't come in. Anyway, I just emailed her and told her that it had come to my attention that the snap pack is now available and asked her if she could order it for me ASAP....wish me luck.

Contact your CMC to be sure. . .

but the only way she would be able to order these great new items before March 1 is if she was able to attend a regional convention. If for any reason she was not able to do so (or chose not to) she will not be able to get any of it until it becomes available to all of us CMCs in March. I am dying to get my hands on them myself, but couldn't go to convention because of the birth of my son in January!

Yes, my CMC went to the regional convention. I guess that's why she was able to get the stuff early.
