How do they board the buses back to the airport?
We were on a June Magic Western cruise. The boarding for the buses was really easy. After breakfast in Animator's we headed to the midship area to debark. The exact time varies depending on how well everyone followed the directions etc., but I think it was around 9am for us. We went off ship into the area of the terminal where the baggage is waiting. All the luggage is color coded according to tags you placed on each bag the night before. We had no trouble locating our bag in the green "Tink" section-they even had them numerically arranged according to cabin number. Many people were able to grab a porter, but we had to go it on our own as we were in the first large group headed off the ship. Some of the major airlines such as Delta, American and United will take your bags from the port to the airport, so you can even skip this step and head through customs and out of the terminal.
As you exit the terminal, Disney reps are waiting to help you to the correct bus. There were rows of busses lined up; some going to WDW resorts, and some to the airport. You tell the rep what airline you are flying or to which resort you are going, and they point out the correct bus. If you do have your bags with you, be sure you see them go on the bus that you are on. Since there was a pretty full bus, we made sure there were enough seats for all 4 of us before we got the bags on. Within an hour we were in the terminal. Very quick and easy!
Any other questions, let me know.
