New code during my stay

I am currently booked at POR 4/16 through 4/19. There is a code that comes out on 4/18, however it's for reservations that are checking in on the 18th, so it can't be applied to my last night. Would it be possible to check out on the 18th and back in at the same time so I can utilize the code? If it's possible, do you think it would be a hassle to do that? I'm wondering if we go down to the desk and check out and back in at the same time if that would work. I still haven't paid for my last night, I'll be doing that tomorrow, so theoretically I could cancel my last night and rebook at the lower rate on the same call.

Are you sure a code is coming out April 18? IN the past the codes are released early, meaning that if it comes out April 18, it will be for check-in dates like July. There are codes already out for the time frame you are going and they must be booked before April 16.

As far as checking in and out, it will depend on the amount of guests there, you may not have to change rooms at all. Worst case you have to switch to a different room and bell services can move your stuff for you.

That's what I meant-the codes are applied beginning April 18th, they've been out about a month now. I don't want to get a rumor started that summer codes will be out on the 18th
