New Christmas PJ's :)

Who else has this tradition? I used to LOVE getting new pajama's on Christmas eve! (in fact - I still hint for my DH to get me new Pajama's for Christmas eve!)

Now my kids love getting them too! They all line up - get their pj's - run upstairs to put them on, and come back downstairs for some hot chocolate and to put out milk and cookies for Santa

We give the kids PJ's and a new book to read (or read to them) in bed before they go to sleep.

DH and I are not exchanging them this year since we spent more on bigger presents and neither of us needed them.

We do this too! I give my girls a new set of PJ's each year. I also like to get them new slippers too!

Every Christmas Eve the kids get to open one package and it is always the pj's. My mother did the same thing for us as kids.

I am doing this for the first time this year with my daughter. We never did this growing up, but I read about it on here and thought what a great tradition so I will be starting it in our house.

I thought I was the only one who did this. Too funny. My girls always get new PJ's on Christmas Eve. Like another poster said, It's great for those Christmas morning pics! Gotta have pretty new PJ's for Christmas!

My parents did this with us every year. I'm sure it was hard getting similar pj's for 6 kids! If I remember correctly, they were usually just red. I don't have kids, but I buy myself new Christmas themed pj's every year!

Yep! My kids will be getting new pjs, a book & flavored hot chocolate that they like. We will let them open these on Christmas Eve when we get home from mass.

I have 6 kids - and it's impossible to get similar pj's for all of them. Especially since the older 2 are boys - they just want pajama pants and a thermal shirt. The rest of the kids however are all getting Christmas DIsney PJ's this year

We do that for our kids too!! This year I extended it and bought new PJ's for all the nieces and nephews too. I always love wearing new cozy jammies on Christmas eve, and then we all look that much cuter in the pictures Christmas morning !!!

I also started this, and it's the only present they can open on Christmas eve. My DS wants a robe so I got them one of those to go with too.

Yep...we do this too (PJ's and a book...plus a robe this year too). I do have to say, it was very hard to find the PJ's this year!!

We do this too! The kids are getting Mickey/Minnie skiing/skating PJs this year!

My ds's always get a package on Christmas Eve that includes new pajamas, thermal underwear, t-shirts, socks, and a special book. My Mom always did this with us, and I have never broken this tradition!!

Yes! We do this too, and I never knew anyone else that did. My great-Mommom started this with her great grands... when we were newborns. Now it continues... with the 5th generation knowing the magic of Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve.

We always opened our jammies, ran upstairs to put them on, and then came down and had Jesus' birthday cake. Sweet memories, that I am now passing on to my boys. {happy sigh}

I thought my family was the only one that did this. My parents would give me new xmas pj's every christmas eve to wear for that special night.

I'm 27 now and my mom lives in Arizona and she mails me pj's to Michigan every year!

when I have children I plan on carrying on this tradition with them as well.
