new character meal at mgm

I heard that they were doing auditions for Sarge from Toy Story ... which has led many to believe that they may be adding a Toy Story character meal.

I just looked on the casting call website for Disney and it says the following:

Disney Audition's is seeking actors to portray the role of Sarge from Toy Story for an exciting, new character dining experience at the Disney-MGM Studios. Full-time, part-time, and substitute positions are available.


I wonder when this will open and where exactly it will be located in Disney MGM.

My 6 yo would love that, since one of her favorite characters is Jessie from TT2.

Oh my gosh,,, our son would LOVE this,, unfortunately we will be there in April. I don't think we will plan to return for a few years, we are going to do an all inclusive resort next year.

I really hope this is something they do soon. My sister is going to Disney World with her two young boys sometime this spring or summer. They just love Toy Story so much.

Wow...now that my boys are 10 and 14 and really don't care about character meals...they configure one more toward the male audience....go figure...

Nevertheless...I will never forget in years past as a single mom...dragging them into the castle...and the many shades of lipstick kisses all over their faces from the princesses as we exited.....they never forgave me for that.....lol

I would love this for my DS(4) who keeps asking me why his sis (6) can eat with princess and he can't eat with Buzz?

Has anyone called Disney Dining about this? I'm hoping that when it is made available for ADR's - that someone on these boards will be kind enough to let the rest of us know (I know that DISers are the best at sharing info )

Like numerous other posts before me, here's hoping it's there for my May trip!
