New character meal at MGM???

Don't want to start any crazy rumors however...

The Disney carrers website lists auditions taking place on January 10, 2006 for "...the role of Sarge from Toy Story for an exciting, new character dining experience at the Disney-MGM Studios..."

Very interesting... Could it really be??? After all these years???

Guess we'll have to wait to see.

OMG, that would rock!!! I loved the soundstage one and miss it horribly! They really do need a character dining there. I'll be watching out for this one.

Maybe they will add characters back to Hollywood & Vine??? We loved it when it was a character meal, but have not returned since characters taken away! I also have a ds that would love a "boy" character meal! Here's hoping Disney is finally realizing there are a lot of "boys only" families out there! :thewave:

Please let this be true! A "boys" meal would be so great for those of us with sons, plus it would be a great business decision for Disney.

I *think* I know where you're coming from, but since getting ressies at the Castle is like trying to get in to see the President of the United States, there are clearly more people that haven't had 'enough' of the princesses.

I wouldn't mind a boy option either. My son would flip over a Buzz and Woody meal or a Power Rangers experience.

I can guarantee that my DDs would much rather see the princesses than the President of the United States. LOL.

I'd also love to see them bring a character meal with a Toy Story theme; I think my DS would think that was way cool.

I had to go to the careers site myself, because the thought of a new MGM boys character meal was too exciting not to peak my curiosity. I was very happy to see the audition schedule with my own eyes! It looks like it might actually happen.
