There are 3 different levels as of October based on the number of cruises you have done

Silver is after your first cruise
Gold is after your fifth cruise
Platinum is after your tenth cruise

And Disney if your listening, blankets (like we got for the first Panama cruises) for the Alaska cruises would be great!

My DH would love it if you're right about the blankets. Why? Because I bought a DCL logo blanket on our last cruise (partly because I won't let anyone actually use the ones we got on the 2005 PC cruise)
When I showed DH, he said; what do you want to bet that will be the next CC gift, and we'll end up with a whole collection of them. My luck, they'll go with the blankets and DH will never let me forget that he told me so.

They really would be a great gift though, especially for the Alaska cruises.

I think I heard somewhere that the lanyards will be different for the different CC levels so you should be able to spot a gold or platinum by their lanyard perhaps????

Here's hopping they bring back cocktails and jalepeno poppers! I love the evening Castaway Clubs. Breakfast ones were naff!

I 100% agree... we've sailed 3 years in a row now, and have gotten the exact same Castaway Club gifts every time. Surely, after your 4th or 5th cruise, Disney could start giving you a character towel or something else beside the blue cups.

Amen! Everytime I open my kitchen cabinet a wave of blue cups falls on me.

I don't know if I like this...

I have about 12 or 15 CC lanyards from past cruises and never wear them, too hot and not my style! It sounds kind of snotty to me... oh, look at me... I'm gold a member, I'm better than you?! I don't have a problem with the KTTW being different because it's not on display. Should people really brag by wearing their colors so obviously? Sounds like pirates, hoist the colors.

I can hear the whispers now... oh look he's only a silver, keep the children away!

p.s. I guess I should add I'm a gold level CC

At any level, I agree with that! I've never had kids and have no need for the "kid stuff" gifts. Although families may be the majority, not everyone who sails with DCL has children!

We have kids and mine never used that stuff anyways I would be happy with any kind of a change, we have no use for the cups and pencils and stuff. I do however think the black tote was pretty nice, but we have a closet full.

The towels we used to get were nice.

I'm gonna be disappointed if I go on my next cruise and the platinum gift is the same old black bag and blue cups.

I don't think there is ANY chance of that at Platinum level. We shall see.

I agree with you all. We're going on our 5'th cruise in November and we've had the SAME gift for all 4 that we've been on so far. ANYTHING different would be nice.

Just got off the Wonder on Sunday and was told by a CM that there will be bags and lanyards based on your level. But he wouldn't say more than that.

I for one refuse to let anyone use the bags...I love them, even though we have a ton. Same with the cups. I have the old trading cards put up too. I still have all the special little gifts we got on the 11 night southern carib and the panama canal. I save all things DCL. I am hoping for cocktails at the platinum level....maybe more than just rice krispie mickey heads......here's to hoping! I think the lanyards are a good idea so maybe we will receive little things from various cast members during our cruise. I too have cruised with DCL since 1999 and am glad to see some reconition for our support. I know some are not happy with the changes...or the gifts......but I am just happy to be able to cruise with DCL, there are so many that cannot.
