For those of you who haven't already been tagged on this article a million times by your Facebook friends, here's all the information Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings has released so far about their new, closer-to-the-castle ceremony location inside Magic Kingdom.
Note that Disney has also raised the price of the Magic Kingdom Train Station ceremony location. That venue's Ceremony Fee is now $15,000, with a $10,000 Food & Beverage Minimum and a $15,000 Enhancement Minimum. Like the East Plaza Garden, this location requires a $10,000 deposit to book. However, Train Station ceremonies still take place before the park opens to most day guests.
Here are Disney's official photos of the East Plaza Garden...
And here's an aerial view of the location in releation to the rest of the Hub.
- Name: East Plaza Garden
- Capacity: 100 guests
- Ceremony Time: 9:30 am (i.e., while the park is open to day guests)
- Ceremony Fee: $25,000. Includes venue fee, upgraded chairs, sound system, greenery package (for blocking views; this is not a floral and decor package), a string trio and Main Street vehicles to transport your wedding party.
- Food & Beverage Minimum: $15,000 + 23% service charge and 6.5% tax. Reception is not held inside Magic Kingdom.
- Enhancement Minimum: $35,000 + 23% service charge and 6.5% tax on certain elements. This can be met by any wedding-day service you pay Disney for, including floral, decor, photography, videography and entertainment.
- Outside vendors are prohibited. Photography and videography must be provided by Disney Fine Art Photo & Video.
- Deposit: $10,000 (instead of the $4,000 deposit normally required for Wishes Collection events).
