As others said, if you have your turn signal on, this shouldn't happen.

Every manufacturer has their own standards about how these features work. On my vehicle, having the turn signal on made no difference in how it behaved.

The CX-5 is on my list of options. I have been "car shop" as I am driving around and in parking lots.

Moonroof, Sunroof or whatever else they are called all look like leaks waiting to happen.

I am not sure I like the idea of a window on top of my car (moonroof), especially if it is makes the car feel bigger, when I am wanting a smaller car/SUV anyway. So I will definitely be looking for one without one.

This is what mine looks like, with the shades open and closed (random internet photos). The window itself does not open, so I don’t anticipate any leaks. From the outside it’s just one smooth piece of glass covering the whole roof.

After weeks of looking and going back and forth. I just put a deposit down on a new 2025 Chevy Trailblazer. They are working to acquire one from a different dealer but it will likely be in by the end of the week.
