Ok, so I have the BEST DH in the world!! (RBennett) He went out and bought me my own camera so that I can start taking my own shots! :woohoo: These are my first shots taken right out of the box around my office.

This is a paper clip that was across from me on the floor!

And here's my little boy, Koda! (Like from Brother Bear!)

None of these have had any post processing, so please give me lots of opinions and critiques for someone starting out!! :thumbsup2

Good for you. That is the same camera my wife has and she loves hers- I like it too.

Wow, that was nice. That's a great camera. I really like the shot of the box of paperclips. It's cool looking.

Thanks!! Your pictures at the B&B show is what made DH decide on this one! :thumbsup2

THANKS! I was really happy with the shots, but I wanted some opinions from people that have been doing this longer than me. :rolleyes1

Nice! I like how sharp the one with the paper clip on the floor is. I thought of getting this camera for those times when I didn't want to carry around my DSLR. Maybe sometime in the near future. Looks great!

I just bought my DD the sx10, and this little scrolly wheel is driving me crazy. Any suggestions on the best way to use it? Sometimes I've had to spin it around several times before anything happens. Also, manual says to hold Macro down for > 1 second for super macro but I can't get it in SM at all. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I thought about upgrading my S3 to the SX10 but now I'm not sure.

The SX10 is not the same camera as the SX110IS. You might want to make a separate post for your question so someone who has that camera can see it and hopefully respond.

Oops, sorry. Yeah, I know they're 2 different cameras, I just didn't catch that in the title. Thanks.
