Hi it's been a year since I've been here..
But I received a pin code and decided to book a August 2009 trip
I asked the CM if there was any dining codes to add on to this $49 a night pin. She said she'd look and she said there was a new Dining promo for Canadians only. It was a basic dining with free wine upgrade??? you had to have a basic one day ticket?
She tried for my dates but didn't go through so she said it might be a new code as of this morning. So she said to keep an eye out
on the disney.ca website.

Just a heads up..

Wow. Thanks so much for letting us know. Did she happen to mention what travel dates the code is good for? We're going in January. The free wine is not much good to me since I'm with child but DH would love it.

but what number would you have to call to check if you have a code attached to your name??

I called the number in the email that I received with the pin for 40% of hotel407-939-7774
I didn't have this dining/wine offer on my name just an offer she looked up for canadians
She tried my dates Aug 23- 28 2009 and said that code didn't go through and said the offer was good for those dates. She said to check the disney website for a pop-up
But if someone else wants to call to see if then get another CM to tell them more about the offer..

She also said that we can take the wine home we didn't have to drink the bottle at the restaurant. Since the restaurants had some corking ???? and we could go to animal kingdom and get African wine or epcot...

Well, if anyone else finds out anything else about this promotion, be sure to tell us. I'm especially excited now that I know you can take the wine home. I don't think DH would be up for drinking mine AND his share every day. :) I have checked over the Canadian Disney site and can't find anything about it. Fingers crossed!

just clicked every single link on Disney.ca and even after completing a survey found nothing to do with a Canadian Dining package... just the standard 6 day/7 night for $1600 plan.

I have signed up with disney for every thing I can but have never received an email from them with a pin code. When you receive these emails with codes who does it say the sender is? Disney Vacations? All ears? Please help a girl try to save some hard earned money! Thanks!:cheer2:

I have waited YEARS and MANY disney trips to get a code. No luck.:headache: :headache:

Then, we decided we would take my mother in law along for next year's trip, and registered her to receive a DVD, and low and behold, she got, not one pin, but TWO pins over the last two months!!!! :worship:

She has never been to Disney before, and when I registered her, I put in my email because she doesn't have a computer.
The first pin said " we hear you are thinking about taking your first trip to Disney world... ( 40% off up until end of Dec.2008)
Second one is for 40% off date in 2009, but, of course, nothing for our dates in April.( CM said it was for Canadians...)

When I called, the disney agent said to look out for more codes coming soon...

We'll see...

Just to clarify, though, the promotion that the OP is talking about concerning the free wine upgrade is not a code. If it's legit, it should be available to all Canadians.

I can't find any info on this. Someone point me in the right direction please?

is there specific dates or is it just you need to canadian??

Am I reading right? the OP was told that they could add this free wine upgrade to a package where they already had a room code? That would be sweet indeed, but does that not go against the general rule that Disney does not let you stack codes? However, we'd be paying the regular rate for the dining plan, so maybe having a 40% off room code doesn't count?

If anyone finds out more info, please post!

PS we need a wine drinking smiley...LOL

Okay I just called again, the number above. The CM didn't know if it was a postcard promo, email promo. All she saw was a Canadian deal after I gave my reservation number. She didn't have all the deals as she said the promo would have more details but gave me a quote. (This time it went through)

For 2 Adults and 16 year old
5 days/6 nights at Pop Century
1 day park pass each (x3)
Dining Basic and Wine package ???
(What's the basic dining)..
Total : $1454.79

She said the promo ends March 31 2009. Last day to book but based on availiblity

I can't get in to disney website to see if this is a good deal.
She gave me the code if I decide. But not sure if allowed to post.

Can I ask if you are also using the 40% off code that some people got last week (including myself)? I've booked a package including dining with that code, but if we could add free wine that would be great. Thanks :goodvibes

Yes I received the 40% off coupon for a room only.
What was the total price for your dining package.. Thanks

Very weird, I called and they had nothing. So just to be clear, is this a PIN code that was attached to your name, or a regular Disney promo code (QXY or something similar)?

If it is a regular promo code, then you should be able to post it.

I received an email FOR 40% off hotels.. I called booked a room with the pin. Then after I booked the room. I wanted to know what a dining package would be and that's when she mention promo didn't say anything about pins just it was open to Canadians
The code she gave me was FMB

Basic dining (one quick service, one table service and one snack) is 39.99 per adult per night I think...so for 3 adults that's 119.97 per night, for 5 nights that's 599.85. How does that compare with your total package price? The wine add on is usually an extra 40.00 per room per night.

I'm thinking the deal isn't as good as the CM made it sound yesterday.. lol
The CM yesterday was telling me she wished she was Canadian to get in on this free wine upgrade deal. And since she didn't drink she'd save all the wine for gifts. I think I'll just keep my room at $276 for 5 nights in August.
