I remember watching the old one and really getting a feel for Canada. Now they have Martin Short trying to inject comedy into a new show that just didn't do it for me. For one, Epcot World Showcase is where I go to experience what it is like to live somewhere else, not to see comedians or Disney characters (like they now have in Mexico). Also for some reason Canada feels it isn't portrayed correctly and we have to be reminded again and again that they have modern cities with skyscrapers? Sorry but one modern city is no different than another to me, very boring.

I see this happen often with third world countries who forget their culture and proudly demonstrate their new high tech cities "see, we are modern too". A visit to the native american museum in Washington D.C. was more of the same, I was astonished to see displays touting their casinos, hunting with snowmobiles etc. This is culture?

I found it much too "topical" and modern - the old one was definitely more classic and not outdated as quickly. I liked the old one much better myself.

I agree. I think the movie justs makes fun of Canada and plays way to much on Canadian stereotypes.
I.e. Canadians live in a cold and barren wasteland. Only play hockey, live in igloos.

Marvin Short isn't very funny.

Oh well, I really enjoy all the other attractions in World Showcase.
