First, let me say, WELCOME !
Second,,about your R-Pod,,very SWEET,
I'm sure ya'll will lots of enjoyment out of it,
You know,,I believe that new camper would fit very nicely at the Fort.
I'd even bet you could fit a fish'n pole in there too,
Not try'n to push you,,but when ya'll start your new camping adventures, we sure like to see some pics,.
The R-Pods are sweet!! Congrats on the new baby! There's not much to it so I'm sure you will be pro's in no time at all, happily making your way to the fun and frolic of Ft.W!!
Congratulations and Once you visit The Fort once you will be hooked. Our first camping trip was just about one year ago at The Fort and we are just about to go back in 2 weeks for our 6th visit.
Congratulations on the new R-Pod!! Those are very cool units. If you are thinking of a Fort trip in next year or so, better make that reservation as soon as you nail down dates. It can always be changed or cancelled, but good to get something on the books before dates fill up.
Congrats! DH and I are virgin campers but went out to look at pop-ups this afternoon and discovered R-Pods ~ hubby is in love!!! What model did you get?
Thanks for the welcome! I feel like I'm officially part of the gang now.
Here's a couple pics...we set it up and did a practice run in our driveway. We live in the woods so it was very realistic.
We're camping for the first time at a campgrounds in PA next weekend and I'll be sure to share lots of pics of our first *real* camping adventure!

We started out looking at popups too and once we came across the RPod there was no going back. It's light enough that our Explorer can tow it. We chose the 172 because we needed space for our kids to sleep and it has bunks. We also liked the fact that it has a bathroom. It's very tiny but serves the purpose when your 3 yr old has to go in the middle of the night. We considered the 172T but the added cost wasn't in our budget right now. It's simple enough to turn the table into a bed for DH and I. Our dealer even threw in the RDome awning.
We survived our first weekend of camping! We went to Lake In Woods in PA and although it was HOT, it was a great little getaway weekend. We made a campfire for about a half hour on Saturday- just long enough to toast some marshmallows for s'mores. Thank goodness our camper has A/C. It was a very nice campgrounds with great pools for the kids and activities. We participated in some but mostly just enjoyed relaxing.
I'm going to spend some time today researching so I can convince DH that we need to take a trip to the Fort in 2011!!!!
