New Cafe Orlens and Blue Bayou Menus

Looking at those menus is making me hungry for Disneyland and its food!!!

Does anyone know if the Monte Cristo sandwich on the Blue Bayou lunch menu is the same sandwich as the one on the cafe new orlean's menu? Mu DH loves Monte cristo sandwich- we were never in DL before- have ressies in July and dont know which one to try- Thanks

Oh No!!! My favorite dish is missing! The jerked pork chops with root beer apples! Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Oh well, at least I have the recipe and if I am so inclined I can make it myself...???

so...sad...


HOWEVER...if that prime rib is the same prime rib that we had at our wedding then THAT will be my new favorite dish b/c it was the best prime rib I had ever had...out of this world good!

Okay, I guess I am the only one upset (and really sad) about the Cafe Orleans menu, not a single thing on there looks appetizing to me, but I don't like seafood. I was so excited and really hoping for a good sit down restaurant that I like, guess I'll have to wait for the Riverbelle makeover!

Am I the only one??

Are they currently as in right this minute serving the monte cristo at the cafe new orleans??? We are going this weekend, and we will make sure we stop there if that is the case!!!!!

Hopefully someone can enlighten me.
Blue Bayou....well, I just reviewed the menu with son and nothing on the menu appeals to him. We will be (sad to say, and trust me HE wanted to go there just as much as I did), checking out other places ...ESPN Zone Restaurant, and others. oh well.........

We were at DL yesterday and Cafe New Orleans is currently closed.

its scheduled to open saturday the tenth so it could very well be open when you go

Cafe Orleans was already there but used to be a counter service restaurant. They are just finishing renovating it and it will become a full-service restaurant.

I also think the new menu's leave a lot to be desired. I would rather eat at Granville's or Napa Rose. Had too high of hopes.
