We have stayed at the Desert inn and suites the last 7 trips our family has went. Before that we stayed at La Quinta (15 years ago) and 2 trips before that we stayed at Super 8 (now Kings Inn for about $50 bucks a night lol). Because we didn't book ahead of time I was noticing that DI&S has went up quite a bit!!! I know booking early would of helped, although I have been watching all year and it's not like it use to be. It's a little more. We are looking to go in July (the only time my wife has off work) and were wondering if your family has any budget hotels that are reasonable. We like to walk and we like the free breakfast (even though its crappy it's still putting something in our kids stomackes lol). Is another hotel a better deal? What if we waited till right before, would we find a decent deal? We are not for sure going as our last trip took away a lot of our magic but am starting to think about it again. Would love opinions! Thanks.
