Sounds like a great book. I think I will check BAM this weekend and see if they have a copy. Are there, by any chance, pictures of the HA rooms or even layouts of those rooms? That would make it even better, especially to suit my needs.

I was a peer reviewer for the new Passporter:Open Mouse guide for guests with special needs. It covers every special need and does have photos and layouts and I would consider it an excellent resource also. Check the thread on this board regarding accessible room layouts/photos- a few people who are more technically saavy than I am have posted photos of roll in showers and accessible rooms. I have added measurements only as each resort tends to have a different layout and I've not always been able to get specific answers from DRC.---Kathy
I purchased the new Passprter Open Mouse this weekedn, cause BAM didn't have the other book in stock and said that they couldn't get it a the store. I am going to check out Barnes and Noble this weekend. I really prefer to look at a book before I purchase it, well except my regular Passporter.

I have posted online several times about Bugs Life. I was in an ECV the first time and sat in a regular seat the DCA site. IT HURT and scared me. I made my comments based on how to improve it and did say it was a useful guide. I really like it and have little time for reading but am reading it throroughly which is rare for me lately. Again it is very informative.
There are no maps or room charts in the book.
Hi Mechurchlady,
I just wanted to say that this is the first book or web reference I've ever seen about the bugs life back poking thing in any detail. They do mention that it really hurt the author's wife, and they tell readers how to avoid it, which I think is pretty cool. Especially with my back problems.
Disney is massive and it's got to be impossible to be all things for all people, but I think they did do a great job of covering the majority of what's going to affect people.
I agree that this site is fantastic, but I think that this book covers the experience of the rides in vivid detail, which is great for people with like me. I haven't seen that much detail anywhere else. I also learned a lot of practical things I never knew before.
