I don't think it's been released yet. The price point is supposed to be higher, and Cafe Orleans will be the new BB price wise.

Cool thanks for posting that! Now does anyone have news about the new menu at Cafe Orleans???

Andrea

I'm glad that the Monte Cristo sandwich will still be served there. I had read at miceage.com that it would only be featured at Cafe Orleans. I have eaten at the Blue Bayou twice and have always had the pork tenderloin but had always hoped to try the Monte Cristo sandwich at the Blue Bayou!

My understanding, from internet rumors, was that the MC at CO would be vegetarian or maybe at least there would be a vegetarian version of it there.

Oh my! It seems the prices have gone way up! Thanks for posting!

We would love to eat here, we did our last trip but had wished that the menu offered something that our 14 year old would like, ie.. a hamburger, chicken strips or something like that, something he likes and no quite so spendy. My husband and I like to split a plate and then order desert. Otherwise we are so stuffed we don't even look at the dessert menu. Call me cheap but I don't want to pay 5.00 to split a meal.

Woah! The prices for lunch have sky rocketed! I eat at Blue Bayou all the time but I had no idea that they were changing their menu and prices. Youch! :guilty:

Does anyone know if they will still have a kid's menu? That seems awfully expensive and alot to eat for an 8 year old!

I would assume that they will still have a kids menu and most likely be the same/simular items on it as before. While the menu has changed a bit it is mostly the same things with a few variations.

Wow, when I saw the menu, this was me: :scared1:
I expected the lunch menu would be less than the dinner menu, with smaller portions. But the lunch prices aren't that much less (a few dollars) than dinner! No idea what the pricing was like before, but OUCH!

I think we'll be passing on this restaurant during our stay.

Not only aren't they not less at lunch, the appitizers are more expensive at Lunch then Dinner. If this posted menu is accurate.

On each of my trips to DL, I usually order the prime rib for lunch and my boyfriend orders the monte cristo. With the new prices, I really don't want to spend $50+ just for lunch. That's one expensive prime rib and sandwich. :guilty: I guess I'll start eating at Ariel's Grotto from now on....

I agree with the above post, I would have thought the lunch prices would be MUCH lower than the cost for dinner. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll reconsider the prices on their new menu. :confused3

eh...having eaten at the BB in the past, we won't be returning at these prices!! (what are they thinking!?)

Are these prices rumors or official? That is very big price hike especially for lunch. :confused3

We were there in November and (assuming the prices above are accurate) this is a huge jump in prices! :sad2:

"Rumors" have said that there would be a price increase, as they are trying to make the Blue Bayou "the best Restaurant in ANY Disney Park." But I think they may find less people wanting to visit.

I checked the last posted prices for BB and if these prices are accurate. The price increase on the Prime Rib is $12. $12 is a HUGE price increase for the addition of a salad.

My husband LOVES Monte Cristo's. We have never been to DL, so part of my convincing him we should go was the mention of Blue Bayou just so he could have one. But for $18.99??? He is going to choke on it when he sees the price. Hopefully he won't choke me! What did they cost before the renovation?

MousePlanet also now has the new menu for Cafe Orleans posted on their message boards. The Monte Cristo is there also for a much better price!
