Back in 2009, Disney released The Princess and the Frog, its first “princess” movie in over ten years with the last being Mulan in 1998. Now comes Frozen, Disney’s 53rd animated film and one that has been touted as “the best Disney musical since Beauty and the Beast.”

Val & I just saw this movie (for free courtesy of ABD) and really, really enjoyed it.

I won't give away any of the plot but we both left the theater saying "wow, Disney's traditional (non-pixar) animation isn't dead after all". It was all very well done and told a story - because it all starts with a good story - that is as new as it is ageless.

When you do go (notice I didn't say if, you really need to go) be sure to stay for the very end of the credits. There's an extra surprise in there.
 
I was happy to wait for the DVD but my mum really wants to see this so think we'll be going on Christmas eve :goodvibes
