Like you, I also have a black thumb. But I still enjoy learning about the growing methods they use in the Land Pavilion, as well as all the research that happens there. I think a lot of people are not aware that the Land (and the Seas and Animal Kingdom, just to name a few) is home to quite of bit of scientific research. And the cast members behind the scenes (or in this case, behind the seeds...) are actual scientists in their fields- not just minimum wage earners who learned the script for the tour.

We've taken this tour twice as well and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would even do it again. I agree it's a nice respite when the parks are busy or when it's wickedly humid. Plus you get to learn some cool new facts to show off to your friends!

Our guide in May was named Bill (I think) and is a microbiologist. His job, he said, was to figure out problems with the plants. He was captivating and extremely knowledgeable but was very down to earth.
