New bag check line?

I wonder if it's also for aesthetics? Approaching the park and seeing a huge clumpy line vs seeing several areas that are more streamlined?

I've wondered that too. Seeing giant lines could start people off with an anxious mood or something, because it looks like the park is mobbed. If you see several lines that all appear shorter instead of giant globs of people, I feel like it sets the tone to think the park is not going to be a sardine tin!

Our last trip, we were "no bags" on entrance. Credit cards and phone in pockets, sunglasses on face/head...other tiny items (sun block, quick snacks, etc) also in pockets. I didn't think I could be without my little purse or fanny pack I've always taken in, but I found out I didn't actually USE most of the stuff I had in them anyway. Now, we stay onsite, so if there is something left behind that we absolutely have to have during the day, we can always go back for it. Folks staying off property may have different needs.

While I understand that some couldn't go without bags, especially those with young children or others needing lots of stuff, I can say it certainly was nice being able to go through the "no bags" line!
