Wow, alot of great ideas here.

The spa idea is great, but once it's done, it's done. A good piece of jewelry lasts forever, and can be a wonderful reminder of a precious moment. Same with a tree...everytime she looks at it, she will be reminded of your gift/child's birth.

My first response is jewelry! For DD, we picked out a pearl and diamond necklace for me. (We picked it out at Disney when we decided to start trying!). When we came back when I was 7 months pregnant with DS, we picked out matching earrings.

The plan is to pass each piece on to the kids! DD will get the necklace either on her 18th Bday or wedding day, and DS will get the earrings to give to his wife/fiance someday. If they want them, anyway!

NOW, I will say I am a spa devotee and would love to have a maid, too. But, I think I still prefer the jewelry, 'cause it lasts longer than one day!
