We were already DVC members with SSR. When joined we told our guide that when they open up a resort in Hawaii we were going to buy on the 1st day. An so we did.
I work as a F/A for Hawaiian Airlines based in LAX. So i'll probably see you guys on our flights to Hawaii.

Hmmmm, ours didn't have Dumbo on it. It's green and has a smiling child and pixie dust on the front of the portfolio, but no Disney characters anywhere...

So this peaks my curiosity. I wonder how many different porfolios they have and how they decide which one to send. For resales, they didn't send us a portfolio, but simply a postcard with log-on info. For direct purchases, they sent full porfolios with the paperwork. Here are the two we've received with direct purchases. The one on the left was for our purchase at BLT; the one on the right was for our purchase at Aulani.

What does the Dumbo one look like?

We have talked to our guide a couple of times since the announcement and this morning we decided we will add on in Hawaii.

Just waiting for the return phone call from our guide to get the ball rolling.

Our first trip will probably be the summer of 2012

Hey how do you like the new Airbus A330's? They look awesome! I haven't had a chance yet to fly in em yet, and probably won't until next May! You like them better than the old DC-10's?

Welcome Home Everyone! We just bought on Monday the 5th! We are now proud owners of Aulani! Hoping to get out there opening week, if we can get in. I am super excited as we have never been to Hawaii. We also own at VGC. I have seen some debates on the boards already regarding the number of points they're requiring for stays at Aulani.... Anyone feeling like it's outrageous? I'm OK with it, and like anything else, with proper planning we should be fine. It doesn't seem like we will be heading out there every year anyways, so with the banking and borrowing of points, I don't see a problem. When we bought at VGC we told our guide we would be adding on as soon as this was announced, and so we did...... Aloha everyone!

I just joined yesterday. Got in on the last day of the cali opening. I'm very excited to return to hawaii for my thanksgivings again. I can't wait to book for next year.
